The canonical correlation analysis method was used to explore the physiological and biochemical mechanisms of salt-tolerant rice varieties under salt stress in this study,which can provide references for breeding of salt-tolerant rice varieties,physiological and ecological regulation,and construction of technology system of good varieties and good method.Four genotypes of rice,including JX99,Pokkali,IR29 and FL478,were used as materials with six different salt concentrations(0 g·kg-1,1 g·kg-1,2 g·kg-1,3 g·kg-1,4 g·kg-1and 5 g·kg-1)salt stress.The samples were taken at the booting stage of rice to determine five trait groups(enzyme activity,stress resistance factors,sugar metabolism,water physiological factors,Photosynthetic factor),a total of 25 indicators.First,analysis of variance was conducted,and then canonical correlation analysis was used to analyze relationships between groups of physiological and biochemical traits and their main effect factors in four genotypes of rice.The main research results were as follows:(1)In the two-factor variance analysis,the indexes of traits groups of the enzyme activity,stress resistance factor,glucose metabolism factor,water physiological factor and photosynthetic factor showed extremely significant differences between varieties and treatments,indicating that the four genotypes of rice selected were representative,and the six Na Cl concentration stress gradients were reasonable in this study.(2)Enzyme activity of rice had a very significant canonical correlation with stress resistance factors,sugar metabolism factors,water physiological factors,and photosynthetic factors,respectively,of which the main effect factors were P5CS,Pro and LCMP;SOD,S and SPS;SOD,P5CS and LCSD;OAT,P5CS,SOD,Pn and Tr;respectively.(3)Stress resistance factors of rice had a very significant canonical correlation with sugar metabolism factors,water physiological factors and photosynthetic factors,respectively,of which the main effect factors were Pro,LCMP,SS and TSS;Pro,LCMP,SCSD and LRWC;MDA,LCMP,Ci and Ci/Ca;respectively.(4)Sugar metabolism factors of rice had a very significant canonical correlation with water physiological factors and photosynthetic factors,respectively,of which the main factors were S,TSS,LCSD and SRWC;SS,Pn and Tr;respectively.(5)Water physiological factors of rice had a very significant canonical correlation with photosynthetic factors,of which the main effect factors were SCSD,T,and Ci/Ca.This study showed that the phenotypes of the five trait groups including enzyme activity,stress resistance factors,sugar metabolism,water physiological factors,and photosynthetic factors had significant function effects under Na Cl stress.Therefore,there was a very significant canonical correlation relationship among the trait groups,and the main factors were P5CS,SOD,Pro,LCMP,SS,TSS,LCSD,SCSD,Pn and Tr,which provided a certain reference for the physiological and ecological regulation of saline-alkali-tolerant rice,the research and development of cultivation technology system of fine cultivars,and the breeding of varieties. |
