of vitamin C on the growth performance of summer high temperature Cherry Valley SM3 ducklings was studied.1200 5-day-old ducks were randomly divided into 4 groups,each group had 3 replicates,100 ducks each.A total of one kind of diet was designed,and the control group was fed without any treatment.In the experiment 1-3 groups,200,300 and 400 mg / kg vitamin C were added to the basic diet respectively.The experiment began at 5 days old and ended at 23 days old.The results showed that in the weight of 23 day old ducks,the weight of meat ducks in test group 2(300 mg / kg VC added in the feed)was the largest,101.26 g heavier than that in control group;there was no significant difference between the weight of meat ducks in test group 1 and 2,and there was significant difference between test group 1,test group 2,test group 3 and control group 4.In terms of mortality,2.67% in test group 1 and 2,1.33% in test group 3 and 4,and the mortality of each group was not high.In terms of daily gain,the best effect of test group 2 was 44.68 g,followed by test group 1,test group 3 and control group.There was significant difference in daily gain between test group 1,test group 2,test group 3 and control group,but there was no significant difference between test group 1,test group 2 and test group 3.In terms of food intake,the food intake of test group 2 was the highest,291.08 g higher than that of control group 4.There was a very significant difference between test group 1,test group 3 and control group 4.In the aspect of feed to meat ratio,there was no significant difference between test group 2 and test group 3,test group 1 and test group 4,but there was significant difference between test group 1 and test group 2,test group 3,test group 2and test group 4,and between test group 3 and test group 4.Conclusion: adding vitamin C to the diet can significantly alleviate the negative effects of heat stress on the growth performance of summer high-temperature Cherry Valley Meat ducklings.Adding300 mg vitamin C to the diet can improve the growth performance of meat ducklings.The effect of different levels of vitamin C in the diet on the egg laying performance of Sm3 meat duck was studied.600 meat ducks of 450 days old were randomly divided into 4 groups,each group had 3 repetitions,50 ducks each repetitions.A total of one kind of diet was designed,and the control group was fed without any treatment.In the experiment 1-3 groups,200,300 and 400 mg / kg vitamin C were added to the basic diet respectively.The experiment lasted 11 days.Results: there were significant differences in egg production and egg production rate between the experimental group 2(basic diet+ 300 mg / kg vitamin C)and the control group.The egg production rate,egg weight and feed egg ratio of the experimental group 2 were the best for each experimental group.The egg production and rate of experiment group 2 were higher than experiment group 1 and experiment group 3,but the difference was not significant.The egg production and rate of test group 1 and 3 were better than those of control group,but the difference was not significant.The feed to egg ratio of test group 2 was higher than that of other groups,but the difference was not significant.Test group 1 and 3 were also higher than the control group,but the difference was not significant.In terms of food intake,experimental group 1 was basically the same as experimental group 2,and increased compared with experimental group 3 and control group,but the difference was not significant.In terms of mortality,trial group 3 was the highest,trial group 2 was the second,trial group 1 was the same as control group 4,but the difference was not significant.Conclusion: adding vitamin C to the diet can significantly alleviate the negative effect of heat stress on the laying performance of Cherry Valley Meat Ducks in summer.Adding 300 mg vitamin C to the diet can improve the laying performance of
