| Chicken proventriculitis is a disease which is characterised by swelling of the proventriculus,common symptoms include mucosal erosion of the glandular stomach,slow-growth,thinness,faecal overfeeding and immunosuppression.At present,the prevention of proventriculitis is no effective vaccine,in terms of treatment,the poultry industry in China has long controlled the disease mainly through chemical drugs,and therefore problems such as drug resistance and drug residues have arisen.In this study,the chicken proventriculitis model was constructed,and three groups of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions with spleen-strengthening,anti-inflammatory and immunity-enhancing effects were selected to screen out the most effective traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions by evaluating their treatment effects on chicken proventriculus models and clinical cases.In order to explore the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine prescription on glandular gastritis model and the effect of immune performance and growth performance.In this study,the chicken model of glandular gastritis was established by adding ammonium chloride and PEG-400 to drinking water.A total of 140 20-day-old SPF chickens were randomly divided into 6 groups:normal control group（n=30）,model group（n=30）,prescription one group（n=20）,prescription two group（n=20）,prescription three group（n=20）and positive drug group（n=20）.The digestive function,immunity,antioxidant capacity and growth performance of chickens were detected in the modeling period（after 11 days）,medication period（7 days after administration）and recovery period（7 days after treatment）.The results showed that when ammonium chloride and PEG-400 were added to drinking water,11 days after,the glandular stomach was enlarged,mucosal ulcer was bleeding,and the immunity and digestibility of chickens decreased.It shows that the model is built successfully.The addition of each group of traditional Chinese medicine can improve the pathological damage of muscle stomach and glandular stomach,increase the average daily gain and reduce the ratio of feed to weight in both periods.After 7 days of administration,prescription one group could increase the contents of serum digestive enzymes PP,α-AMS and GAS,and it enhance the digestive ability of chickens.Prescription one group and prescription three group can promote the development of bursa of Fabricius and improve immunity.After 7 days of recovery,prescription one group could increase the contents of digestive enzymes PP,α-AMS and GAS,and prescription two group could increase the content of GAS,and it enhance the digestive ability of chickens.Prescription one group can inhibit the content of serum inflammatory factors IL-6,and prescription two group can promote the development of spleen and improve immunity.Combined with the above,prescription one has the best therapeutic.This research was conducted for determination of the incidence which are responsible for this disease using scene interrogation,clinical diagnosis and anatomical observations,through viral etiologic agents associated with TVP and measuring mycotoxin content in feed to explore the cause of clinical glandular gastritis in a chicken farm of Linyi.The results showed that the diseased chickens had high feeding density,the chickens grew slowly,pulled thin feces and contained undigested feed,and acute catarrhal or hemorrhagic catarrhal inflammation occurs in the glandular stomach and the development of immune organs such as spleen is blocked.The above results determine the occurrence of proventriculus on this farm.The results showed that Cy V3,Reo V,IBDV,CIAV,IBV,FAV and MDV were all negative.The determination of mycotoxin in feed showed that the DON content exceeded the national limit,the total aflatoxin content was slightly lower than the national limit,and the rest of the T2 toxin and ZEN content of each group was significantly lower than the national limit.The above results showed that the cause of glandular gastritis in this chicken farm was related to the stimulation of mycotoxin poisoning in feed.In order to further clarify the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine on glandular gastritis and the effects of immune performance and growth performance.In this study,360 15-day-old diseased broilers with similar body weight in Linyi diseased chicken farm were randomly divided into 4 groups:Onset group,prescription one group,prescription two and prescription three group.The digestive function,immunity and growth performance of chickens were detected in the treatment period（5 days after administration）and recovery period（7 days after treatment）.The results showed that each treatment group could improve the pathological changes of muscle stomach and glandular stomach of diseased chickens,increase the average daily gain and reduce the feed-to-gain ratio.After 5 days of administration,prescription one group could increase the contents of serum digestive enzymes PP,α-AMS and GAS,while prescription three group could increase the contents of serum digestive enzymes PP andα-AMS,and enhance the digestive ability of chickens.Prescription one group can inhibit the content of serum inflammatory factor IL-6 and SIgA,prescription two group can inhibit the content of serum inflammatory factor IL-6 and prescription three group can inhibit the content of serum inflammatory factor SIgA,and inhibit the occurrence of inflammatory reaction.Prescription one group can promote the development of spleen and bursa of fabricius and improve the immunity of chickens.After 7 days of recovery,prescription one group and prescription two group could increase the content of GAS and prescription three group could increase the content of digestive enzyme PP,and enhance the digestibility of chickens.Prescription one group can inhibit the content of serum inflammatory factors IL-6 and SIgA,while prescription two group and prescription three group can inhibit the content of serum inflammatory factor SIgA,and inhibit the occurrence of inflammatory reaction.Combined with the above,prescription one has the best therapeutic.Combined with the above,this study selected NH4Cl and PEG-400 as model drugs,and successfully established the symptom model of glandular gastritis,such as inflammatory cell infiltration in proventriculus tissue,decrease of serum digestive enzyme content and increase of serum inflammatory factors.The addition of the prescription one of traditional Chinese medicine（Salvia miltiorrhiza,Codonopsis pilosula,dried ginger,vinegar Rhizoma Atractylodes,fried Atractylodes macrocephala and licorice）can treat chicken glandular gastritis model and clinical glandular gastritis cases,restore the glandular stomach function of chicken,enhance the digestibility of chicken,and improve the immunity and growth performance of chicken.This study provides an effective prescription of traditional Chinese medicine,which has a certain value for the study of prevention and treatment of chicken glandular gastritis. |
