With the development of urbanization,urban and rural basic public services face a variety of challenges of accessibility,among which urban and rural residents with serious illness medical service accessibility is particularly prominent.The residents’ demand for health is increasing,but the poverty caused by the combination of disease and poverty affects the harmonious development of society."Difficult to see a doctor,expensive to see a doctor" is a hot issue in the current society,its essence reflects the poor accessibility of medical and health services.In particularly,the occurrence of major diseases has become the root cause of "poverty caused by illness and returning to poverty due to illness ",which hinders the realization of residents’ medical service needs.Therefore,how to better protect the rural population,especially It is the right of poor residents to seek medical treatment,to solve the problem of access to medical services for serious illness,and to realize the sustainable development of society is an important issue worthy of our attention.Although rural residents with the help of NCMS to some extent alleviate the medical difficulties of serious illness,there are still some problems highlighted.Therefore,first of all,this paper reviews the existing literature and the practice exploration of various countries;secondly,conceptualizes and operates the connotation involved in the medical service for serious illness,and then puts forward an analytical framework;secondly,discusses the factors that affect the accessibility of medical service for serious illness in rural residents from the two dimensions of demand and supply,and makes quantitative and qualitative analysis.Finally,in the survey data and case discussion,try to find out the problems that lead to accessibility and their causes.On this basis,I hope to be able to mention The path and policy suggestions for improving the accessibility of medical services for rural residents with serious illness.Through field investigation,there are still problems in the accessibility of medical services for rural residents with serious illness.There is still a lot of room for improvement in the accessibility of medical services for serious illness in this area.Specific strategies should be put forward to effectively improve the accessibility of medical services for serious illness in rural residents.
