| Objectives: To explore the protective mechanism of atorvastatin in glucose metabolism. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of atorvastatin in patients with phlegm and qi deficiency and diabetes.Research methods: 1.STZ induced T2 DM rat model.2.A case-control study was conducted, combined with TCM physical fitness scores, and 60 patients with phlegm-dampness and qi-deficiency diuretics hospitalized in the 960 th Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army were randomly selected.3.Statistical methods: Statistical analysis was performed on the data using SPSS 22.0.Results:1.Atorvastatin reduced the damage of pancreatic islet β cells by inhibiting the expression of HDAC1 and HDAC3,promoted insulin secretion, and affected the regulation of blood glucose.2.Compared with the control group, there was no significant change in Hb A1 C levels in patients with phlegm-dampness and qi deficiency-induced diabetes.(p>0.05).3.Compared with qi-deficiency T2 DM patients, atorvastatin reduced TCM physique score and LDL-C level effectively in patients with phlegm-dampness(p<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Atorvastatin protects islet cells and regulates blood sugar by acting like a histone deacetylase inhibitor(HADCi).2.Atorvastatin does not aggravate the deterioration of blood sugar levels in patients with phlegm-dampness and qi-deficiency.3.Compared with qi-deficiency T2 DM patients, atorvastatin had an advantage in treating patients with phlegmdampness T2 DM. |
