The Observation On The Curative Effect Of The Treatment Of Fire Acupuncture Combined With Chinese Medicine On Vulvar Condyloma Acuminatum

ObjectiveThe incidence of condyloma acuminatum(CA)is still high.Due to the long incubation period,strong infectivity,high recurrence rate and some HPV subtype with carcinogenicity,prevention and treatment of CA is still one of the focus of the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.The purpose of this project is to give full play to the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),and to observe the curative effect of fire needle combined with traditional Chinese medicine in treating vulvar CA through comparative experiments,so as to reduce the treatment cost of vulvar CA.MethodsA total of 72 patients with condyloma acuminatum who were diagnosed by the dermatology department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM from December 2018 to September 2019 were selected.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Each group consists of 36 patients.Serological tests for syphilis and AIDS were performed in both groups,and those with negative results were admitted into treatment.The skin lesions in both groups were first treated with disinfection and local infiltration anesthesia before the treatment.In the experimental group,1/4 of the tip of the No.7 injection needle was burned on the alcohol lamp and then stabbed into the root of the wart quickly when it turned red to white.According to the size of the wart,the operation was repeated several times until the wart became white and necrotic.In the control group,BT-901C CO2 laser therapy instrument was used to remove the visible wart.On the evening of treatment,both of the two groups of patients began to use 10%Youdujing lotion(the ratio of Youdujing lotion to water is 1:9,to clean or soak the affected part,once a day for 15 minutes)and Youdujing capsules(took orally,5 capsules,three times a day).Both of the two groups were treated 4-week being a therapeutic course for two consecutive therapeutic courses and the clinical efficacy was observed at 1,2 and 3 months after the end of therapy.The patients were told to prohibit impurity sexual behavior absolutely,pay attention to personal vulva hygiene every day,and truthfully record the conditions of operative wound and adverse effect during treatment and follow-up period.Youdujing lotion and Youdujing capsules were provided by the Preparation Room of Guangdong Hospital of TCM.The main ingredients of Youdujing lotion are Radix Arnebiae,Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Alumen,etc.The main ingredients of Youdujing capsule are Radix Isatidis,Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati,Rhizoma Bolbostemmatis,Radix Arnebiae,Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,etc.Results1.The cure rate of carbon dioxide laser combined with Youdujing lotion and Youdujing capsule in the treatment of vulvar condyloma acuminatum was 81.25%,the recurrence rate was 18.75%.2.The cure rate of fire needle combined with Youdujing lotion and Youdujing capsule in the treatment of vulvar condyloma acuminatum was 78.13%and the recurrence rate was 21.88%.3.The short-term(within 3 months)and the long-term(>for 6 months)efficacy of the experimental group and the control group were similar.4.Gender and age did not affect clinical efficacy.5.The number and the maximum diameter of warts before therapy affected the clinical efficacy,the more warts and the maximum diameter of warts>5cm,the higher recurrence rate.6.The operative wound scab time and healing time of the experimental group were less than that of the control group.ConclusionThrough clinical observation,this study found that the clinical effect for Vulvar Condyloma Acuminatum of the experimental group and the control group were the same.In terms of operative wound scab time and healing time,the experimental group was less than the control group.There were no serious adverse reactions occurred during treatment and observation.The combination treatment of fire acupuncture and Youdujing preparation for CA is with good efficacy,shot time of wound healing and well tolerance.Considering the convenient materials,simple operation,and moderate price,the combination treatment is worthy of clinical application.
