Curative Effect Observation Of Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang Decoction On Type 2 Diabetes With Dan Yu And Spleen Deficiency Syndrome

Objective:To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang decoction in the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)with Dan yu and spleen deficiency syndrome,and to provide a new idea and method for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment of T2 DM.Methods:66 patients with T2DM(Dan yu and spleen deficiency syndrome)who visiting the endocrinology department of Henan Province Hospital of TCM and meeting the enrollment requirements was collected and observed,randomly divided into two groups,experimental group and control group.The control group was treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets 500 mg three times a day(Tid).The experimental group was based on the control group and combined with Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang decoction.We observed the TCM symptoms integral,fasting blood glucose(FBG),2h postprandial blood glucose(PBG),glycosylated hemoglobin,insulin resistance index,cholesterol and triglyceride before and after the experiment,and observed and recorded the adverse drug reactions and adverse events such as liver and kidney function injury during the 60 days.Results:1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in baseline data(age,gender,course of disease,body mass index,TCM symptoms integral,glycosylated hemoglobin,FPG,2h PBG,insulin resistance index,triglyceride,cholesterol)between the two groups(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group and the control group was 87.83% and 63.64%,respectively.The clinical effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After treatment,TCM symptoms integral,FBG,2h PGB,glycosylated hemoglobin,and insulin resistance index of the experimental group and the control group were significantly lower than before,and the degree of reduction was more significant in the experimental group than in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.01).4.After treatment,triglycerides and cholesterol in the experimental group and the control group were significantly lower than before,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,there were statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in cholesterol and triglycerides(P<0.01).5.There were not serious adverse drug reactions and adverse events occurred in the two groupss.Conclusion:1.Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang decoction combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with T2 DM,compared with metformin hydrochloride tablets alone;2.Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang decoction combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets can significantly reduce blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin in T2 DM with Dan yu and spleen deficiency,and improve insulin resistance,compared with metformin hydrochloride tablets alone;3.Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang combined with metformin hydrochloridecan can significantly reduce the cholesterol and triglycerides of patients with T2 DM with Dan yu and spleen deficiency syndrome,compared with metformin hydrochloride tablets alone;4.Chai Hu Gui Gan Jiang is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with T2 DM caused by Dan yu and spleen deficiency syndrome.
