Phlegm Blood Circulation For Treating Insulin Resistance Syndrome, The Clinical Observation

This article includes two parts:0ne part is summaries, They consist of research progress of Insulin Resistance and Insulin Resistance Syndrome by modern medicine; The progress of researching Insulin Resistance and Insulin Resistance Syndrome with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The another part is clinical study, The and clinical research about type 2 diabetes mellitus with Insulin Resistance Syndrome.In the first part of this article, I summarize the definition of Insulin Resistance and its syndrome, the reason on why it happens and pathogenesis, testing methods and the standards of diagnose, the relationship with other diseases and how to treat it with western medicine. This summarize includes many recent researching achievements on Insulin Resistance and Insulin Resistance Syndrome. Moveover I give a review about Insulin Resistance and Insulin Resistance Syndrome with TCM. It comprises two aspects: the study of syndrome and the cure with single herb or its efficacious composition and compound prescriptions. Moreover, I make a simple summary on the current shortcoming and I believe in the TCM has a very broad prospect in future.In the part of clinical research, I do this job on two processes. Firstly, I observe 105 cases of type 2 diabetes. I analyse their syndromes, conclude their distributed information and make a summarization about it by statistics. Secondly, I carry out a clinical research on 67 patients (type 2 DM with IRS) to study the effect of Tangzhiping Compound (Heji). The results demonstrate that the compound can lower the FBG, P2hBG, blood pressure and blood lipid obviously; and also can lighten the weights. But this recipe made no use to the secretion of the insulin and CPE. So I suggested that the improvement of IR might result in increase the sensitivity of insulin in the tissue, obtain the certain effect to improve the Insulin Resi stance.
