Collation Of Ancient Literature On Syndromes Before And After Menstruation And Professor Wang Dongmei’s Experience In Drug Use Of Syndromes Before And After Menstruation

Objective:Through the systematic collection and arrangement of the ancient literature of various syndromes before and after menstruation,this paper summarizes and discusses the understanding of this disease in ancient Chinese medicine.Professor Wang Dongmei,a tutor,collected and sorted out the cases of various syndromes before and after menstruation,analyzed the relevant statistics,and summarized and discussed the tutor’s medication experience in the treatment of this disease.Methods:1.The combination of computer retrieval and manual retrieval is adopted.The computer searches the "Chinese Medical Code" to collect and sort out the expositions on various syndromes before and after menstruation in ancient books,and at the same time retrieve the Chinese periodical database to extract the ancient literature contents involved from the relevant modern literature.manually search the relevant books and materials in the library of Shandong University of traditional Chinese Medicine,and compare the computer search contents with the relevant book contents to reduce errors.The literature was sorted out from the aspects of disease name,etiology,pathogenesis,treatment,prescription and so on.2.Among the 231 prescriptions collected by tutors in treating 113 patients with various syndromes before and after menstruation,a total of 105 traditional Chinese medicines were used,with a total frequency of 41 08.Among them,16 drugs were used more than 110 times,including Atractylodes macrocephala,Glycyrrhiza uralensis,Paeonia lactiflora,Poria,Angelica,Bupleurum,Zelan,Radix Astragali,Cortex moutan,Gardenia jasminoides,neem,Prunella vulgaris,Rhizoma Corydalis,Rhizoma Corydalis,Gleditsia sinensis and Ligusticum chuanxiong.Statistics showed that the main meridians of the drugs used were the meridians of liver and spleen.According to the different efficacy categories,drugs can be divided into 16 categories,of which deficiency-tonifying drugs are the most commonly used,and cluster analysis shows that there are 14 pairs of commonly used drugs and 4 groups of cluster prescriptions.Results:1.In ancient literature,there is no record of the disease name of "menstrual evidence before and after menstruation",and it is often discussed separately according to the different disease manifestations before and after menstruation,and the records mostly began in the Song Dynasty.There were few discussions before the Song Dynasty.The records of disease names are also different.This study collected and sorted a total of 22 kinds of symptoms and signs of the disease,including menstrual pain,menstrual fever,menstrual cold,vomiting,headache,vertigo,fainting,menstrual disorders,and menstruation.Diarrhea,vomiting,stomach pain,blood in the stool,cyanosis,rubella,edema,dumb sound,cough,low back pain,dysmenorrhea,menstruation Dangyin pain,urination pain,menstrual cramps and no food,each disease syndrome is analyzed and sorted according to the chronological order of the literature from the disease name,etiology and pathogenesis,and treatment methods and prescriptions.At the same time,it discusses the ancient doctors’ Awareness of the disease.2.In the 231 prescriptions collected by 113 instructors for treating 113 patients with pre-and post-menstrual syndrome,105 flavors of Chinese medicine were used,and the total use frequency was 4108 times.Among them,there are 16 flavors of medicines used more than 110 times,which are Atractylodes,Licorice,Baiji,Poria,Angelica,Chaihu,Zelan,Astragalus,Peony Bark,Gardenia,Chuanxiongzi,Prunella,Yanhusuo,Xiangfu,Saponin,Chuanxiong,are commonly used drugs for the instructor to treat various syndromes before and after menstruation.The statistics show that the drugs used are mainly liver and spleen;the drugs can be divided into 16 categories according to their efficacy categories,of which the tonic medicine is the most used;cluster analysis has obtained 14 commonly used medicine pairs and 4 clustering prescriptions.Conclusion:By systematically analyzing and sorting the ancient literature about the symptoms of menstruation before and after menstruation from the disease name,etiology,pathogenesis,and prescriptions,etc.,it can provide a reference for clinical syndrome diagnosis and treatment,and lay the foundation for future research of the disease;The analysis and discussion of the clinical experience of clinical use of syndromes is helpful to the inheritance and development of the experience of famous old Chinese medicine experts,and also has positive significance for clinical prevention and treatment.
