Clinical Observation Of Yangyin Qingfei Decoction Iontophoresis In The Treatment Of Dry Eye Patients With Lung Yin Deficiency Syndrome

Objective:To observe Yangyin Qingfei decoction iontophoresis for Dry eye patients with Lung yin deficiency syndrome on clinical symptoms,SchirmerⅠTest(SIT)and tear film break-up time(BUT),and explore the clinical effect of Yangyin Qingfei decoction iontophoresis for Dry eye patients with Lung yin deficiency syndrome.Methods:From January 2020 to November 2020,80 Dry eye patients with Lung yin deficiency syndrome with dry eyes(160 eyes)were treated in ophthalmology outpatient of the second people’s hospital affiliated to Fujian University of traditional Chinese Medicine.Patients who meet the criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,40cases(80 eyes)in each group.The control group was treated with the Tears Naturale Forte eye drops tid,10 days 1 course.The treatment group was treated with Yangyin Qingfei decoction iontophoresis,1 times a day,10 days 1 course.Before treatment,after 1 course of treatment,after 10 days of treatment,after 1 month of treatment,the patient’s clinical symptoms score,SIT,BUT and safety indexes such as intraocular pressure(IOP)in the treatment process were recorded.Results:(1)After the treatment,in the two group,the clinical symptom scores was lower,SIT was more,BUT was longer than before the treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellence rate of the control group was 0%,the effective rate was 60%,the inefficiency was 40%;the excellence rate of the treatment group was 7.5%,the effective rate was 67.5%,the inefficiency was 25%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.001).(2)Follow-up period,at 10 days after the end of treatment and 1 month after the end of treatment,the clinical symptom scores increased of the two groups decreased compared with that after the treatment.The clinical symptom scores of the treatment group was lower than that before the treatment and the control group in different periods,there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.001).At 10 days after the end of treatment and 1month after the end of treatment BUT of the two groups were lower than after the treatment.The BUT of the treatment group was longer than that before the treatment and the control group in different periods,there was significant difference between the two groups(P <0.001).At 10 days after the end of treatment and 1 month after the end of treatment SIT of the two groups were lower than after the treatment.The SIT of the treatment group was higher than that before the treatment and the control group in different periods,there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.001).(3)The IOP was comparable between before treatment and after the end of treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.843).Conclusion:The Yangyin Qingfei decoction iontophoresis can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,Schirmer I Test and tear film break up time of Dry eye patients with Lung yin deficiency syndrome.The efficacy and lasting time of the Yangyin Qingfei decoction iontophoresis group were significantly better than those of the Tears Naturale Forte eye drops group.
