| Objective:To understand the effects of Shenzhe Zhenqi Decoction on blood lipid,blood sugar,blood pressure,gastric symptoms and mental symptoms of patients with lung distension treated with Glucocorticoid(GC),and to explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease in patients with lung distension and the prevention and treatment of side effects of Glucocorticoid.Methods:Fifty patients with acute exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)and with lung distension caused by Qi and Yin deficiency were divided into experimental group(25 cases)and control group(25 cases)according to the actual events.The control group was treated with western medicine treatment program,and the experimental group was combined with Shenzhe Zhenqi Decoction for internal administration on the basis of treatment in the control group.The course of treatment was 10 days.During the course of treatment,the data of blood lipid,blood glucose and blood pressure of the patients were monitored,and the symptoms of stomach disease(such as stomachache,nausea and vomiting)and mental symptoms(such as depression,irritability,insomnia)were observed.After the course of treatment,the efficacy was evaluated.Results:(1)The t-test and rank sum test of two independent samples showed no significant difference in Triglyceride(TG)and total Cholesterol(CHOL)between the two groups at admission(P > 0.05).At discharge,there was significant difference in TG and CHOL between the two groups(P < 0.01).The difference in TG and CHOL between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).Compared with admission,the serum lipids in the control group were increased at discharge,while those in the experimental group were decreased at discharge.The serum lipids in the two groups before and after admission were statistically significant(P <0.001).(2)The blood glucose and blood glucose difference at 2H before breakfast,dinner and postprandial in 2 groups were compared between two groups.The rank sum test of two independent samples was used.The blood glucose and blood glucose difference before and after dinner in the control group were higher than those in the experimental group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.001).The difference of blood glucose between the two groups before breakfast and dinner and after dinner was measured by rank sum test,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.001).(3)The differences of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the morning and evening between the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0.01);The changes of blood pressure in the morning and evening in the two groups,the systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the control group were higher than those in the experimental group.There was no statistical significance in the difference of systolic blood pressure between the two groups in the morning and the evening(P >0.05),but there was statistical significance in the difference of diastolic blood pressure between the two groups(P < 0.05).(4)The number of cases of stomachache,nausea and vomiting and the symptom score of the experimental group and the control group were compared,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)There was no statistical significance in the number of cases of depression,irritability,insomnia and symptom scores between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Shenzhe Zhenqi Decoction can significantly improve the symptoms of cough,sputum,wheezing and so on in patients with lung distension of Qi and Yin deficiency.(2)Shenzhe Zhenqi Decoction can actively regulate blood lipid,blood glucose and water metabolism of patients to a certain extent,and stabilize blood lipid,blood glucose and blood pressure.(3)Shenzhe Zhenqi Decoction can significantly reduce the incidence of gastric symptoms(such as stomachache,nausea and vomiting)in patients.(4)Shenzhe Zhenqi Decoction has no obvious clinical effect on patients’ mental symptoms(such as depression,irritability,insomnia). |
