Objective:Myasthenia gravis(MG)is an autoimmune disease caused by dysfunction of the neuromuscular junction, and so far there is no feasible cure for it.This clinical study aims to treat MG with spleen-kidney deficiency by strengthening the spleen and nourishing the kidney,to observe and evaluate its clinical efficacy and the quality of life of patients, and to verify its effectiveness and safety,so as to provide clinical basis for treating MG with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.Method:1.Selection in December 2019-September 2021 in Wuhan Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine neurology clinic and hospital,a total of 80 patients with MG(this study included in the standard),randomly divided into 2 groups.each group 40 cases.Excluding patients who met the dropout criteria, there were 39 patients in the final treatment group and 36 patients in the control group.2.Thirty-nine cases in the treatment group were treated with spleen-tonifying and kidney-tonifying decoction(self-made spleen-tonifying and Kidney-tonifying decoction)combined with conventional Western medicine(cholinesterase inhibitor +immunosuppressant).control group 36 cases with conventional western medicine treatment, the treatment of 1 month.During the follow-up observation, according to the circumstance of the MG patients, the before and after treatment in all kinds of observations and rating scale, including absolute/relative myasthenia gravis score(ARS-MG),MG Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale Score,15-item myasthenia gravis quality of life(MG-QOL15)scale,MG quality of life(MG-ADL)scale and safety testing(blood routine, blood biochemistry, electrocardiogram, etc.),the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups before and after treatment The scores before and after treatment in each group were compared,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy and quality of life of patients with MG treated with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.3.SPSS22 statistical software was used to process and analyze the obtained data. Results :1.Before treatment, the age, gender, course of disease, and type of patients between the two groups(P>0.05)were no significant differences, the general conditions of the two groups of patients were the same, can be compared.2.There was no apparent difference in the absolute clinical scores of MG between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which could be compared. After treatment, the clinical absolute scores of MG in the two groups were decreased, and the intra-group comparison was statistically significant(P<0.05).Academic significance(P<0.05).After treatment, the total effective rates of the two groups were 92% in the treatment group and 86% in the control group.3.There was no significant difference in the total scores of TCM syndromes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. After treatment, the total scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were decreased, and the difference within the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Statistical significance(P<0.05).The total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment group was 87%,and that in the control group was 72%。4.There was no significant difference in MG-QOL15 scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. After treatment, the average levels of MG-QOL15 scores in the two groups were decreased, and the difference within the group was statistically significant(P<0.05);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.There was no significant difference in ADL scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. After treatment, the average scores of the two groups were decreased, and the comparison between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);the comparison between the two groups was also statistically significant(P<0.05).6.During the whole treatment process, there were no special adverse reactions in the treatment group and the control group. Conclusion :The method of strengthening the spleen and nourishing the kidney can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with myasthenia gravis due to deficiency of the spleen and kidney, and improve the quality of life of the patients, with relatively few adverse reactions and good safety. It can be seen that the Jianpi Yishen method(Jianpi Yishen Juxian Decoction)combined with conventional western medicine has better clinical efficacy in the treatment of MG patients with spleen and kidney deficiency, and it is worthy of clinical application.
