Objective: To analyze the food intolerance and Helicobacter pylori infection in children with chronic superficial gastritis, then explore the relationship between Hp infection and FI condition in CSG children. Methods: A total of 569 children with CSG diagnosed by gastroscopy in Anhui Children’s Hospital from January 2019 to May 2021 were selected to detect and summarize FI and Hp infection in the children, and to explore the relationship between Hp infection and FI condition in CSG children. Results: Among the 569 children with CSG,FI children were 480 cases(positive rate84.36%),and the intolerance was mainly 1-3 kinds of food. The degree of FI was highest in eggs, which were mainly severely sensitive and moderately sensitive. The second was milk, with mild and moderate sensitivity. The rest were mainly mild sensitivities.FI positive rate was 83.65% in male and 85.64% in female, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).Among 14 foods between male and female groups:only tomato had significant difference in FI positive(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the specific Ig G antibody levels(P>0.05).The majority of CSG children were school-age children(383 cases,67.31%).FI positive rate: infant group(96.00%)>pre-school age group(90.91%)> school-age group(84.33%)> adolescent group(69.35%).Numerically,FI positive rate decreased with age.In adolescent group, the positive rate of FI was lower than others(P<0.05).The types of intolerance foods in preschool group were more than others(P<0.05).The school-age group was more than the adolescent group(P<0.05).The order of food intolerance was different in different age groups.Comparison of the first five foods in 4 age groups :the positive rate of FI in the egg and tomato were significantly different(P<0.05),the levels of food specific Ig G antibody in egg and wheat were significantly different(P<0.05).In the study, the infection rate of Hp was 31.28%,the positive rate of FI in the infected and non-infected groups were 85.96% and 83.63%.The sex ratio, the positive rate of FI,the degree of sensitivity, and the number of food types between the Hp groups have no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).The first five intolerant foods of Hp infected group and non-infected group: only soybean had significant difference in positive rate, and the positive rate of infection group was higher(P < 0.05);only wheat had significant difference in food-specific Ig G level(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in FI positive rate between Hp infected group and non-infected group(P>0.05).Conclusion: Children with CSG have a high positive rate, the food is mainly eggs and milk, and the intolerance is variable. The FI condition in children varied by age.Children with CSG had high Hp infection,Hp infection positive rate changes at different ages, and Hp infection positive rate increases with age. This study showed that higher FI condition and Hp infection were observed in CSG children, but there was no significant relationship between Hp infection and FI positive rate.
