| Drama script Zha Guo shows contemporary life.Professor Geng Bo invites old classmates Pan Hai,Shou and Ma Ya home to eat chafing dish.The four men have different occupations,characters,circumstances and come from different stratum.Pan Hai is a deputy head in Program Department of TV station,looks like successful.Ma Ya is a clerk in insurance company,bachelordom and mixes with food to die.Shou makes a living as a singer in the streets and in a state of bliss.Geng Bo’s daughter wounded a classmate unintentionally,which has been hyped to be a hot event on network.Geng Bo is constrained to appear on TV by the wounded’s parents,therefore he wants to turn to Pan Hai.At the same time,Pan Hai wants to persuade Geng Bo to appear on TV to save the program which is on the brink of crisis.Ma ya is concerned about his first love who is living under Geng Bo’s floor,but he is not dare to meet her.The guest invited by Pan Hai to the program seems relating to the four men’s past.The four men eat,drink,and each sticks to his guns.The new troubles come one after another,ultimately,leads to a complot be uncovered which result in a poet being put in prison twenty-some years ago.During argufy,the hot pot burst,as if the disguise with no place to hide.This play started from the event that Geng Bo’s daughter hurts her classmate,and its main conflict depended on Geng Bo’s decision that whether to participate in the television program.Through these,the script digged the complexity of human nature,and showed people in morbid society including the embarrassing state when they face the absurd and irrational world.This paper mainly discussed three issues.Firstly,the basic structure of the script followed "three unities",and preferred for traditional form which emphasized the literary and plot.The traditional drama that focuses on the plot has the existence value today.Zha Guo returned to the tradition for the requirements both for the needs of personal creation and practical significance.Secondly,a morbid society aggravates contradictions among people,and between people and society.Living in a morbid society contributes to more serious sick of people.Morbid people are common in drama productions,and four characters of the script Zha Guo are also morbid people in contemporary society.Thirdly,Zha Guo is a comedy which people can laugh and feel the tragedy at the same time.Part of this paper analyzed concretely its comedy.At last,this paper concluded the difficulties and deficiencies that may exist through writing of this script. |
