Biao Qi And Qi Liang Society

Biao(表)and Qi(启)are two popular styles of official documents in the Southern Dynasty.Under the writing concept in Six Dynasties that people taking the official letter-writing as the article,Biao and Qi were not only the strategy of running a state,but also had the strong literary.Based on the articles,this paper observes the social functions of Biao and Qi in Qi and Liang dynasty(in short Qi Liang),places them in the broad cultural background.It attempts to examine the social situation and the customs of Qi Liang from several perspectives,and grasp the characteristics of the article and understand the literary life of Qi Liang through the recognition of the social situation and customs.The first chapter,starting from the new concept emphasized in Wei Xiao Yang Zhou Jian Shi Biao of employing people based on family social status and personal talents,this paper observe the political environment and explores the cultural atmosphere of the time when they like to pay tribute to the reputation and their enthusiasm for the affair,further understand why the scholars at the time advocated academics and liked to pay attention to literature.In the second chapter,through analyzing the situation of the characters and the public opinion,this paper attempts to reconstruct the historical scenes that the noble families had to face at the time of the change of dynasties,and observes how they responded to the changes and made choices,and how their mentality and actions would affect their family status and literary creation.The third chapter focuses on several official documents between the emperor of Liang,Xiao Yan,and the crown prince,Xiao Gang,which take lecturing on Buddhist text as the theme.Based on the documents,we investigate the belief concepts of the upper class in the period of Liang,analyze the reasons for the rulers to carry out Buddhist activities,and take the ephemeral Buddhist writings in the period of Qi and Liang as an example to examine the development and decline of literary style.In the fourth chapter,the author takes Qi based on gratitude(谢赐启)(the literary format that popularized in Qi Liang dynasties)as the research object,to explore the mechanism of internal development and external formation of the style,and further to focus on the aesthetic pursuit of describing objects in all fields of Qi Liang literature,and finally to explore the "Cross-style writing"concept of the Six Dynasties literatures.
