A Study Of The Kurdish Issue During The Pahlavi Dynasty In Iran

The Kurdish issue during the Pahlavi dynasty in Iran is an important problem affecting the construction and political stability of the Persian nation-state.On the whole,there are three stages of development,that is,the enlightenment of nationalism is mainly manifested as the tribal rebellion with nationalism as the carrier;the second is the development of nationalism.during this period,Kurdish political parties uniting the Kurds appeared under the banner of nationalism;finally,there was a new stage in the development of Kurdish nationalism,during which political parties diversified and the masses formed extensive ethnic consciousness.Therefore,based on the relevant historical facts,this paper further reveals the development of the Kurdish issue during the Pahlavi dynasty by combing the evolution of the Kurdish issue and being influenced by various aspects at home and abroad.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part: a brief overview of Iranian Kurds and the emergence of Iranian Kurdish ethnic consciousness.This part mainly describes the Kurdish population,geography and social economy,focusing on the influence of Kurdish tribes on the Kurds.Then it analyzes the nationalist factors in Simko’s rebellion and summarizes its role in the Kurdish nationalist movement.The second part analyzes the internal driving force of the development of the Iranian Kurdish issue from the national policy of the Pahlavi dynasty and the development of Kurdish political parties.The policy of the central government promotes the development of Kurdish national consciousness,and combines the game of western countries in Iran to promote the emergence and evolution of Kurdish political parties.The third part discusses the policies of the United States,the Soviet Union,Britain,Turkey and Iraq towards the Iranian Kurds,and looks at the influence of Iraq and the Turkish Kurdish movement on the Iranian Kurdish issue based on transnational politics.In a word,under the influence of various factors,the Iranian Kurds have developed from a "face-to-face community" to an "imaginary community" with a common ethnic consciousness.At present,the Iranian Kurdish issue develops more smoothly than the Kurdish issue of the other three countries,showing a lukewarm state.The future development of the Iranian Kurdish issue will still be influenced by national policy,the development of Iranian Kurdish political parties,and geopolitical and international political changes.
