The Research On Western Marxist Historiography From The Perspective Of The 21st Century

In the wave of "New Historiography" in the 20 th century,Western Marxist Historiography,represented by British Marxist Historiography,devoted itself to reforming classical Marxist ideology and guiding the study of civilian history,thus promoting the study of western labor history and becoming one of the three major historiography schools in the 20 th century,with far-reaching influence in the historiography field.Therefore,centering on the theme of the development of Western Marxist Historiography in the new century,this article takes the British Marxist Historiography in the new century as the research object,on the basis of showing the influence of Western Marxist Historiography in the 20 th century,analyzes the difficulties it encountered during the transition period between the old and new centuries,and reveals the new direction of the development of Western Marxist Historiography in the new century.This paper consists of six parts,including introduction,text chapters and conclusion,and discusses the changes and development of Western Marxist Historiography represented by British Marxist Historiography between the old and new centuries,combining diachronic and synchronic studies.The introduction part mainly expounds the necessity and importance of studying Western Marxist Historiography and British Marxist Historiography under the new century background,highlighting the position and influence of Western Marxist Historiography represented by British Marxist Historiography.The first chapter mainly expounds the relationship between Marxism and Western Marxist Historiography,reveals the relationship between Marxism and Western Social History research,and clarifies the significance and value of Marxist theory to social history research,so as to highlight the uniqueness of British Marxist Historiography and its relationship with Marxism on this basis.The second chapter mainly expounds the development of Western Marxist Historiography represented by British Marxist Historiography in the new century,discusses the new situation faced by Marxist theory in the field of British historiography,the intergenerational alternation of British Marxist Historiography,and highlights the reconstruction and rebirth of Western Marxist Historiography represented by British Marxist Historiography in the new century.The third chapter mainly expounds the challenges faced by Western Marxist Historiography in the new century,shows the subtle relationship between the British Communist Party and British Marxist Historiography,and highlights the vacillation between politics and historiography of British Marxist historians.In addition,the analysis of the involvement between postmodernism and Marxist historiography highlights the obstacles of Western Marxist Historiography on the road of theoretical reform.The fourth chapter mainly expounds the new developments of Western Marxist Historiography in the new century,reinterprets the classical Marxist historiography thoughts in the new century,highlights the inheritance of Western Marxist Historiography theories,displays the new image of Western Marxist Historiography,and reveals the new development opportunities of Western Marxist Historiography represented by British Marxist Historiography.The conclusion part mainly expounds the value of Western Marxist Historiography represented by British Marxist Historiography in the new century,and looks forward to its role and influence in the development process of western historiography in the future.
