A Journey Of Individuation-A Study Of Literary Activities From The Perspective Of Jungian Analytical Psychology

Jung’s theory of Analytical Psychology has a wide range of influence on various fields of literature,especially the collective unconsciousness,archetype,complex,active imagination and individuation,which have a considerable explanatory power on literary activities.This paper attempts to sort out and reinterpret the relationship between literary activities and psychology from the perspective of Analytical Psychology,in order to show the important value and significance of literary activities in the construction of mind.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background,the research status at home and abroad,the significance of research purposes and research methods,and points out the special significance of the theory of active imagination and individuation for the research of literary activities.The second chapter combs the important concepts related to literary activities in Analytical Psychology,including the theory of unconsciousness and individuation,as well as the active imagination and dream analysis as a psychological analysis technology.The third chapter,starting from the literary creation,points out that literary creation is a spiritual activity of active imagination,analyzes the important role of complex and collective unconsciousness in the process of this activity,and probes into the important influence of literary creation on the self-development of the writer’s soul and the construction of the symbolic meaning of his works.The fourth chapter describes the occurrence and influence of resonance experience and understanding analysis in the process of literature acceptance,and points out that literature acceptance is an individualized activity of mind reconstruction,which plays an active role in spiritual healing,consciousness expansion and world transformation.In a word,the literary activities from the perspective of Analytical Psychology are the journey of self realization,in which people get the integration and development of mind,break through the spiritual dilemma,and become a more complete self.
