Abstract/Summary:
Intangible cultural heritage is a traditional cultural expression and spiritual civilization treasure passed down from generation to generation in human social life.Today’s society also pays more and more attention to the inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritage.With the continuous development of media technology in the new era,the current methods of intangible heritage protection and inheritance are also showing a more diversified situation.As an art of audiovisual integration,video recording has broken through the limitations of time and space,enhanced the cultural exchange and educational functions of intangible cultural heritage,and has been widely disseminated on traditional TV media and social platforms of new media,allowing more people to "see".The documentary Cultural In Heritor series is one of the representative works of intangible cultural heritage images.CCTV launched the Cultural In Heritor series(Season 1-3)in 2015,2018 and 2019,which was loved by the audience.This research mainly uses the theory of cultural memory.Two main methods,text analysis and in-depth interviews,are used to study the memory construction and meaning production of intangible cultural heritage images represented by the documentary Cultural In Heritor series(Season 1-3)in three parts.According to the storage function of cultural memory,this article first discusses the storage and wake-up of the image memory of Cultural In Heritor.The three aspects of image information,image narrative,and "memory field" conveyed through image texts show how Cultural In Heritor borrows the storage function of image memory,shaping image records into "archives" that preserve memories,laying the foundation for cultural inheritance.The second part relies on the reconstruction function of cultural memory,analyzes and explains the reconstruction process of the image memory of Cultural In Heritor.This part mainly uses the audio-visual characteristics recorded by the video as the basic framework,and discusses three levels of image metaphor,visual form presentation,and enhancement of auditory effect in the image of Cultural In Heritor.The study found that images of the Cultural In Heritor series realized the reconstruction of memory through the use of images such as "water" and "fire",as well as the expression of audio-visual languages such as the use of lens language,light and shadow colors,editing methods,music sounds,and narratage.The video record forms a response to the real society in the call and reorganization of the creator.In the third part,this research discusses the meaning production and identity construction of the image of Cultural In Heritor in three perspectives: culture,business,and politics.It can be found from the research that although Cultural In Heritor constructs a cultural identity by exploring the relationship between tradition and innovation,human beings and nature,and a national identity through the signifying practice of collective imagination,the nature of the audiovisual media still cannot avoid over-responding to the audience.It is will partly fall into the commercial logic of consumerism.This study finally proposed that the intangible cultural heritage could be better inherited by means of image memory.Faced with the dilemma of memory authenticity,the research puts forward countermeasures and conclusions that expect future technological innovations to produce more reasonable and effective memory methods and lead the human society into those memory experiences which are more authentic and diverse.
