The Chinese people’s obsession with "saving" is well known. However, the research on the psychological accounts of money storage among different ethnic groups can improve our understanding of the differences in the ways of money storage among different ethnic groups psychologically.Studies have shown that, based on the differences between eastern and western cultures, people have different psychological accounts for various resources such as money, and the cognitive mechanism of these psychological accounts is affected by interpersonal relationship, time and other factors. So,do the factors that influence the psychological account have the same effect on the psychological account of money storage? What is the difference between the four different ethnic cultures in China? In the preliminary experiment, the psychological account phenomenon was verified by the situation simulation experiment. The experiment took 120 subjects(including 30 Han,30 Mongolian,30 Uygur and 30 Korean)as samples. The experimental materials were adapted from the traditional "concert experiment" materials, and the subjects were asked to make a decision on whether to store under the two conditions of "Wage loss" and "Interest loss".Chi-square test results showed that in the two situations with different causes of money loss, the participants made significantly different decisions on whether they would save the money or not. That is,the psychological account phenomenon occurred in the subjects of four different ethnic groups.Study 1 adopts the questionnaire of psychological account classification structure(savings part)compiled by LiAimei’s research to investigate and study 261 subjects of four ethnic groups: Han,Mongolian,Uygur and Korean, and exploratory factor analysis is conducted on the results. Finally,it is found that the conclusion of the above research on the structure of the money storage psychological account is still valid in this study, which verifies that the structure of the above research on the money storage psychological account is applicable to the four ethnic groups involved in this study. That is,in this study, the money storage psychological account can be divided into two types: security account and risk investment account.According to the verification of the structure of the money storage psychological account in study 1,the influence of ethnic group, interpersonal relationship and storage time on the secure security account(hereinafter referred to as the safe account)and the risk investment account(hereinafter referred to as the risk account)was studied through two experiments.Study 2a adopts a three-factor mixed experimental design of 4(ethnic)× 4(interpersonal relationship)× 3(storage time),taking 84 subjects including Han,Mongolian,Uygur and Korean as research objects, and the dependent variable is storage decision.Explore the impact of ethnicity, relationships, and storage time on secure accounts. The subjects were asked to report that under different conditions, the subjects chose "the amount of deposit withdrawn from time deposit and still kept in the bank".The larger the amount, the more likely the subjects were to have a secure account. The results showed that in the order of "relatives, friends, strangers and acquaintances",the possibility of secure accounts was less.Mongolian,Uygur and Korean people are more likely to have security accounts than Han people.Study 2b also adopts a three-factor mixed experimental design of 4(ethnic group)× 4(interpersonal relationship)× 3(storage time),taking 80 subjects including Han,Mongolian,Uygur and Korean as research objects, and taking storage decision as the dependent variable to explore the influence of ethnic group, interpersonal relationship and storage time on risk account. The subjects were asked to report,in different contexts,"the amount of money still being used for financial management in the financial management fund withdrawn at maturity".The larger the amount of financial management, the more likely the risk account phenomenon will occur. The results show that the risk account phenomenon is most likely to occur in the face of "relatives" who are closest to the interpersonal relationship, while the risk account phenomenon is least likely to occur in the face of "acquaintances" who are far away from the interpersonal relationship. The Han is more prone to risk account phenomenon than the Mongolian,Uygur and Korean.Han and Uygur people are more likely to have risk account phenomenon when facing relatives, while Mongolian and Korean people are more likely to have risk account phenomenon when facing friends. Conclusions are drawn based on the above research:(1)among the Han,Mongolian,Uygur and Korean, the psychological accounts of money storage can be divided into security accounts and risk investment accounts.(2)interpersonal relationship affects security and risk accounts. The "relatives" whose interpersonal relationship is closest to each other are most likely to lead to the occurrence of safe and risky accounts, while "acquaintances" whose interpersonal relationship is far away are least likely to lead to the occurrence of both accounts.(3)ethnic groups have influence on security accounts and risk accounts. The Han is more likely to have risk account phenomenon than the Mongolian,Uyghur and Korean, while the Mongolian,Uyghur and Korean are more likely to have security account phenomenon than the Han.(4)ethnic groups and interpersonal relationships influence risk accounts together.Han and Uyghur people trust their relatives more and are more likely to have risky accounts, while Mongolian and Korean people trust their friends more and are more likely to have risky accounts.
