Previous academic research on Liu Yong’s poem mainly focused on the life of the writer,the ideological connotation of the work,the artistic characteristics of the works,Socio-cultural value,etc.,and paid more attention to Liu Yong’s vulgarity poem,artistic aesthetic values and his social and cultural values.there is less research on the relationship between Liu Yong’s elegant poem and vulgarity poem.The author starts from the discernment of elegant and vulgarity in the history of poem,discusses the contradiction between Liu poem’s elegance and vulgarity and the reasons for this contradiction,Furthermore,from the perspective of readers,we discussed the acceptance of Liu Yong’s Ci during the Song,Yuan,Ming,and Qing Dynasties,and finally discussed the inheritance of Liu Ci by later writers.The thesis aims to further improve Liu Yong poem’s research so that people can understand Liu Yong and his words fairly and objectively,and affirm the artistic achievements and cultural connotation of Liu Yong poem.The main body of the thesis is divided into three chapters:The first chapter of Song Dynasty poem world’s "discernment of elegant and vulgarity" as a starting point to explore the subjective and objective reasons for Liu Yong controversial.Under the background of the culture of advocating elegance and excluding vulgarity,Liu Yong poem has been controversial because of its contradiction between elegance and vulgarity.This is due to the conflict between the artistic background of Liu Yong poem’s elegant and vulgarity pursuit of art,and the advocating elegance and rejecting vulgarity culture.In the eyes of the people of the Song Dynasty,Liu Yong obviously does not belong to elegance,but it is not vulgarity.The key to Liu Yong poem’s ability to switch between elegance and vulgarity lies in Liu Yong’s superb literary literacy,rebellious personality,and legendary personalexperience,which enabled him to integrate refined and vulgar into the words organically,and to develop another way of turning vulgarity into refined,elegant do not evade the vulgar,a new realm of refined and vulgar mix.The second chapter specifically demonstrates the acceptance of Liu Ci’s contradictory elegance and vulgarity in the literary world of the Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties.From the reader’s perspective,the Song Dynasty is a period of tenacity and differentiation.In this period,Liu Ci’s readers’ acceptance is generally popular.In the Jin and Yuan dynasties,Su Shi’s doctrine traveled northward.Yuan poetry replaced Song poem.The influence of Liu Yong poem gradually disappeared and hidden,But Liu Yong was generally accepted by Jin Yuan readers because of his unique spiritual personality and value orientation,Liu Yong promoted Yuan Qu’s development of.In the Ming Dynasty,the change of poetic conception made Liu Yong poem respected by many scholars because of his euphemism and sincerity in his language.The civilianization and popularization of his words were also deeply recognized.The influence of Liu Yong poem in the Qing dynasty reappeared,and the path of acceptance was suppressed first and then promoted.The way of criticizing and accepting first and then Yang made the influence of Liu Ci reach a peak among many readers in the late Qing Dynasty.Observing the status change and evaluation of Liu Yong poem in various dynasties since Song Dynasty,It is not difficult to find that the acceptance of readers who discovered Liu Ci was a volatile process.The third chapter focuses on the inheritance of Liu Ci’s "both elegant and popular" by later generations.From the perspective of the writer’s creation,specifically selected Su Shi,Zhou Bangyan,Dong Jieyuan,Guan Hanqing,Cabinet poet,Tang Xianzu,Yuan Mei,Gong Zizhen and other cases for interpretation.They are affected by Liu Yong poem,whether it is the copying and chasing of word formation,the use of sentence imagery and The reappearance,or the recognition of Liu Yong’s life,and the re-modeling of Liu Yong’s image,to a certain extent,corroborate the great influence of Liu Yong poem on later generations,especially under the high-pressure feudal system.Vaguely flashes of humanism,this is undoubtedly affirming the artistic achievement and cultural connotation of Liu Yong poem.
