The Cultural Landscape Conservation Of Mon Tribal Village,the Displaced Village In Sanklaburi District,Thailand

With the development of global integration,the protection and development of rural cultural landscape must adhere to the principle of sustainable development.Sustainable development has become an important theoretical basis for formulating development plans to control the degradation of rural cultural landscape.The cultural landscape of Mon Tribal,the Displaced Village in Sanklaburi District,Thailand,is classified as cultural dominant landscape or rural cultural landscape.Over the years,its landscape has changed very little.People’s life style mainly depends on nature.It has its own distinct characteristics in architectural form and religious and cultural customs,which makes it form a unique cultural landscape.However,due to the rapid development of urbanization,the cultural landscape of Mon Tribal is facing serious problems of degradation and destruction.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to analyze the composition of the cultural landscape,the factors of the formation and development of the villages and the problems faced by the cultural landscape in Mon Tribal,the Displaced Village in Sanklaburi District,Thailand,so as to put forward the development strategy of protecting and planning the cultural landscape of the villages,to enhance the awareness of the community to the protection of the village heritage and the development of tourism,and to promote the cultural heritage price of the villagers of the Mon Tribal Village to format the values.On the one hand,this study can theoretically make up for the lack of research on the cultural landscape of the Mon Tribal Village and enhance people’s understanding of the cultural landscape of the region;on the other hand,it can formulate cultural heritage protection planning,promote the sustainable development of local cultural tourism,strengthen the local villagers’ attention and pride in protecting cultural heritage,and to strengthen the attention and management of the relevant government and private institutions to the status and development of the tourism in the Mon Tribal Village.
