YunTi-SHE dialect is the sole SHE dialect in Anhui Province.The SHE minority people in here call themselves "san??(?)?(?)32? "(meaning the people lives in deep mountain).The dialect point of this research located in the western suburb of Ningguo City,the junction of Anhui and ZheJiang Province,and the northwest foot of Tianmu Mountain.Baseing on the author’s field work and previous achievements of other scholar,this research use the theories of phonology,historical linguistics and dialectology to make a synchronic description and historical comparison on YunTiSHE dialect.The paper are divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter introduces the research,such as it’s aiming,background,methods and the frame of it.The second chapter is the phonetic system of YunTi-SHE dialect.This chapter is aiming to uses the methods of phonetics and phonology to describe the phonological system of it in a synchronic way.Then,lists the homophonic character table to reveal the phonetic panorama of it.The third chapter making a comparison between YunTi-SHE dialect and middle ancient sound.Compareing the initials,finals and tones of this two.Analyzes the historical development & sound correspondent of it.The forth chapter make an phonetic comparison over the initial,final and tone between YunTi-SHE dialece & ShuiTing-SHE dialect in LanXi-ZheJiang,which is the one of the population origin of YunTi SHE minority.The fifth chapter analised the language nature of YUNTI-SHE dialect.By applying the theory of the language substrate,the author try finding more substrate factors belonging to Hmong-Mien and Kam-Tai languages existing in YUNTI-SHE dialect.Aiming to illustrate its difference & development.The fifth Chapter is the conclusion of this research.
