A Study Of Image In Oil Painting From The Perspective Of PEEP

"Seeing precedes speaking" is the opening line of John Berger’s way to seeing.Freud believed that voyeurism stems from the curious nature of human beings.People’s cognition of the world starts from watching,and "peep" behavior satisfies people’s curiosity."Peep" behavior belongs to the research category of psychology,and "peep desire" is an indispensable existence in psychology.Through an experience of watching Hitchcock’s film "rear window",the author began to pay attention to the artistic creation of expressing the behavior of "peep" and showing the psychology of "peep".From ancient to modern times,there are numerous works with the meaning of "peep".In this paper,the author analyzes oil paintings with the meaning of "peep" in different periods and cultural backgrounds.To study the different perspectives and ways of expression of different painters’ works in the theme of "peep".In the process of such research,the author finds that most of the oil painting creation from the perspective of "peep" is closely related to the image tools.Since the invention of the camera obscura in the 15 th century,painters no longer limited to using their eyes to observe in the process of creation,but at the same time began to use video tools.David Hockney argues for this in his book secret knowledge.The painter narrated from the perspective of "peep" in the picture,and painters such as Johannes Vermeer,Edward hopper and Damien Loeb used the image-assisted tools to create an atmosphere of "peep" in the picture.In this direction,the author studies oil paintings from the perspective of "peep",explores the visual presentation in the works,and draws lessons from the practice of self-creation to extract needed elements and pictures from daily life for processing and creation.In the process of creation,the composition form,color cultivation and technique expression are constantly improved to convey the unique artistic feeling to the audience.Both the thesis and the final work are carried out around the "peep" perspective and the exploration of the image characteristics in the picture.In the current era of People’s Daily life to find materials,improve their aesthetic perception,the performance of the "peep" with the universal meaning of the world,Study the public "peep" psychology,and finally through the individual artistic creation.
