| Richard Shusterman is a famous aesthetician and humanist in the United States.He is the leader of the new pragmatism aesthetics and body aesthetics."Life is aesthetics" is an important aesthetic concept put forward by Shusterman in his later period.With the increasing penetration of aesthetics into daily life,the research object of aesthetics is no longer confined to art and nature but expanded to daily life,and life aesthetics has become a new form of contemporary aesthetics.Therefore,it is necessary to reexamine and evaluate the aesthetic value of Shusterman’s life aesthetics for promoting the vigorous development of contemporary aesthetics.This paper systematically combs and explains Shusterman’s life aesthetics from three aspects: its formation,aesthetic connotation,evaluation and enlightenment,and makes a brief evaluation.The first chapter mainly explains the formation of Shusterman’s life aesthetics.Through a brief description of the origin of life aesthetics,followed by a review of the background and theoretical context of Shusterman’s life aesthetics,and then explore the development of Shusterman’s life aesthetics.The second chapter is the core content of this paper,which comprehensively investigates and deeply explores the aesthetic connotation of Shusterman’s "life is aesthetic".First of all,it analyzes how Shusterman revives the real aesthetic experience;secondly,itanalyzes the important role of Shusterman’s body aesthetics in the daily life aesthetics;finally,it expounds Shusterman’s point of view of "let life become art".The third chapter is the objective evaluation and Enlightenment of Shusterman’s life aesthetics.This paper analyzes the theoretical contribution and limitations of Shusterman’s life aesthetics,and the Enlightenment of Shusterman’s life aesthetics to the development of contemporary aesthetics in China,so as to objectively evaluate the theoretical value and practical significance of Shusterman’s life aesthetics in the western aesthetic system. |
