| Liszt,the great Hungarian composer,pianist,and conductor,is one of the most outstanding representatives of romanticism in the 19 th century.He is a romantic master.Among his many works,piano and symphonic poem are undoubtedly the most outstanding representative genre.From 1848 to 1861,Liszt settled in Weimar,and completed the writing of the piano work《Ballade no.2 in B minor》(s.171)in 1853.Just in this period.,Liszt pioneered a new genre of "Symphonic Poems" and authored 13 important symphonic poems.Because both have objective conditions in time,through in-depth research on the creation background,music materials,writing techniques and other aspects of 《Ballade no.2 in B minor》,as well as the analysis of the specific structural characteristics and inner thoughts of Liszt’s symphonic poems,and comparing the two,I found Liszt《Ballade no.2 in B minor》contains a lot of Liszt symphonic poetry elements in terms of musical structure,tonality layout,music content,melody characteristics,and sound effects.This paper probes into the embodiment of the symphonic poem elements in the 《Ballade no.2 in B minor》,such as free medley structure,"Thematic Transformation",alternation of tonality,literary philosophical style,character portrayal melody,contrasting accompaniment texture,and paragraph arrangement of character alternation..At the same time,the application of the symphonic poem elements and the mastery of the playing style of the 《 Ballade no.2 in B minor 》 were combined to comprehensively analyze the "symphonic poetry" of melody,accompaniment,emotional expression and other aspects of performance methods.Open up a new way to study the《 Ballade no.2 in B minor).Show a new perspective of comparative research and comprehensive analysis of Liszt’s different musical genre,and provide insights for future generations to study and perform this piece. |
