| With the higher and higher requirements of school and Society for English learning,many students are anxious,which needs to be controlled.Anxiety,as an urgent problem,needs to be controlled.Researchers paid more attention to the relationship between English classroom anxiety and self-control.The research object will be selected from Zhejiang Province,focusing on the following three issues:1.What is the level of high school students’ English classroom anxiety?2.What is the level of high school students’ self-control in English learning?3.What is the relationship between senior high school students’ English classroom anxiety and their self-control?Based on the analysis of the questionnaire data and interview content,this study draws the following conclusions:1.High school students’ English learning anxiety is at the middle level.Among the three dimensions,test anxiety is the first,negative evaluation fear is the second,and communication fear is the lowest.Women’s English learning anxiety is higher than men’s,but there is no significant difference.The anxiety performance of the freshman is weaker than that of the sophomore,and there is a significant difference.2.High school students’ English learning self-control shows a medium level.In the three dimensions,behavior self-control is the first,thinking self-control is the second,and emotion self-control is the lowest.In terms of gender differences,women’s self-control ability is significantly higher than men’s.In terms of grade differences,the self-control ability of freshman is significantly weaker than that of sophomore.3.There is a significant negative relationship between English classroom anxiety and English self-control.The stronger self-control,the lower test anxiety.The negative relationship between English classroom anxiety and emotional self-control is the strongest.According to the above research,the author gives the following suggestions: 1)change the old ideas,pay attention to the cultivation of the core literacy of English subjects,alleviate the level of the test anxiety and the influence of grade rise on the students through various forms of evaluation methods,and pay attention to the situation that the anxiety of female students is easy to wake up in learning.2)The attention to students’ self-control ability should be strengthened,and the self-control ability of students should be cultivated purposefully,especially the male students’ emotion control and the cultivation of self-control ability of junior students.3)Help students to evaluate themselves correctly.By combining self-control ability with anxiety,students can be guided to consciously relieve stress and relieve anxiety level. |
