| At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,Western medicine followed the missionary activities of the church into China,but at first it was only as an incidental part of the missionary activities,and it was not to speak of competing with the Chinese traditional medicine.However,after the abolition of traditional Chinese medicine was put forward in 1929,the number of western medicines entering the Chinese market increased sharply.Under the impact of the western medicine,Chinese medicine enterprises in crisis at the same time,the comparison of western medicine packaging design,advertising sales,etc.,to realize the importance of trademark in drug advertising sales,so in reality and urgency under double pressures,the localization of Chinese medicine packaging and trademark design a lot of the symbol design vocabulary with the west to fusion,thus opened the modern traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)trademark design train of thought,It has produced excellent trademark design with rich subject matter,diverse techniques,distinct meaning and prominent style of The Times.From the drug trademarks left by the Republic of China at present,we can clearly and intuitively feel the various explorations of Chinese people in the face of the western culture shock.In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,drug trademarks tended to be traditional national styles.In the 1920 s and 1930 s,due to the popularization of western medicine and the promulgation of trademark laws,drug trademarks were imitated and borrowed from western design languages.However,due to the imperfection of the trademark law,the phenomenon of similar,fraudulent and mixed use also appeared in the design of the drug trademark.In this paper,through comparison and analysis of the Republic of China trademark graphics and tries to conclude its traditional symbols and modern symbols reshaping process and train of thought,and on the basis of exploring the design style and splendid historical achievements,to perfect the trademark design research in the Chinese modern plane design,for the reference of the present Chinese medicines trademark design inspiration. |
