At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,great changes had taken place at that time.The outbreak of the Opium War and the opening of major commercial ports led to the steady influx of western textile products and culture into China.Under the influence of the Outer Cloth,Chinese people began to realize the importance of commercial fine arts Consciously carry out the design of trademarks,especially the integration of local symbols with western design vocabulary,thereby opening up the design idea of modern textile trademarks and producing a trademark style with rich contents and various forms.In the middle period of the Republic of China,the design ideas of textile trademarks have matured.Many well-designed trademarks have been produced in terms of graphics and design,style and performance,showing the style of the times and the social spirit.From the current left in the Republic of China textile trademark,we can feel close to the people in the face of the impact of Western culture,when the exploration.Towards the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the textile trademarks tended to be in a traditional national style.By the 1920 s,the trademark of the textile industry appeared to imitate and learn from the Western design language.At the same time,localization of the trademark design was realized through various methods.Based on the comparison and analysis of the trademark patterns in the Republic of China,this article attempts to summarize the process and ideas of re-shaping the traditional symbols and the modern symbols.On this basis,it explores the influence of historical background and cultural factors on the trademarks of textile products,Improve the gaps and shortcomings in the research of graphic design in modern China,so as to reproduce the richness,diversity and multi-areas of modern Chinese trademark design.
