Lin Fengmian's Figure Painting Under The Concept Of Integration Of China And The West

Lin Fengmian is a significant pioneer of Chinese art development in 20 th century.He made a great success in fusion of Chinese and Western by his exploring spirit and innovation,and he set an example to those later artists.This thesis focuses on figure painting of Lin Fengmian's art exploration.Since he has numerous art work which including many different themes,so writer discussed the subject classification of figure painting in order to reveal his artistic attainments.His figure paintings can be classified into portraits of oil painting,nudity,maid painting,painting of working people and dramatic characters,etc.Writer discussed the Lin's choice of Chinese and western artistic elements and his emotional connotation in different kinds of work based on fusion of Chinese and western.First,writer expounded the formative factor of Lin Fengmian's idea of fusion of Chinese and western which can be divided into three elements: Chinese traditional culture,western art trend and the May fourth new culture movement,This paper analyzes the changes in the specific content of Lin Fengmian's theory of Chinese and Western fusion art in the process of the evolution of figure painting.Second,writer inquired into the artistic and emotional characteristics of figure painting of five kinds of figure painting,On the basis of this,the characters are drawn into a comprehensive analysis and comparison,and the relationship between the types of figure paintings and its influence are obtained.At last,writer made a value analysis of his figure painting achievement on the basis of fusion of Chinese.Lin Fengmian's figure painting is an achievements of artistic exploration based on culture blending,it is a inheritance and innovation of Chinese traditional culture,it is also an innovation of western art on the basis of absorbing western modern art.It has greatly promoted the development of modern painting art and created a new situation of modern painting.On this basis,it provided a direction for the benevolent people who later explored in the field of painting,and gave the scholars a revelation and experience in spirit.The more people are exploring with Lin Fengmian's original learning style,in order to create a new scene on the art learning road.The paper has 48 pictures and 77 references.
