| Drama is the art of conflict."Drama conflict" is a kind of artistic expression of the emergence,development and resolution of contradictions embodied in the complete drama action.The characters in the play face all kinds of contradictions(internal or external)actively or passively,so that a series of stories occur,linking up the relationship between the characters,and expressing the theme of the works through the story trend and the opening and closing of conflicts.It can be said that there is no drama without conflict.Through the collation of materials,the author finds that many excellent dramas and films have set up very subtle dramatic conflicts,such as the movie "eight hundred","no thieves in the world","miracle boy","ten thousand arrows through the heart",and the drama "Coriolanus" all provide new ideas for script creation.This article will elaborate the dramatic conflict from three aspects.On the first hand,it analyzes three manifestations of drama conflict: people’s own internal conflict comes from the character and will of the protagonist;Conflict between people,and manifested through action conflict;The conflict between man and environment is the conflict between hero and natural environment and social environment.Secondly,combined with the skills of making drama in excellent films,the author explains three methods of setting drama conflict,namely,constructing unfamiliar environment,using misunderstanding and arranging accidents.Thirdly,it analyzes the three functions of drama conflict in drama: first,drama conflict can promote the development of drama,which constitutes the clue of story,and makes the story come to an end with the development,development and resolution of conflict;Secondly,drama conflict has the function of showing the relationship between characters,which can expose the relationship between characters and make the relationship between characters change;Thirdly,drama conflict has the function of deepening the subject’s thought.Drama comes from social life,while drama conflict comes from life contradiction.It is the value of drama conflict to show social problems and try to find ways to solve them. |
