On The Singing Of The Soprano Aria "The Eye Of A Girl"

Gaetano Donizetti(1797--1848)was a famous Italian composer and a representative figure of the Romantic Opera School.In his lifetime,he wrote more than 70 opera works,in his opera works,the coloratura soprano segment accounted for more."The Eyes of a Girl" in "Don Pasquale" is one of them.As the first canto performed by Nolina,the number one female in the opera,it is the most wonderful canto and soprano canto in this opera,and also a very classic aria.This paper analyzes the plot,characters and repertoire knowledge of the opera Don Pasquale and the singing section A Girl’s Eyes,and makes an in-depth analysis of the works.As Donizetti’s most representative colatura work,A Girl’s Look,there are many wonderful phrases in the work to express the mood of the music.It not only requires the singer to sing the grace notes skillfully in terms of skills,but also needs high emotions to promote the gorgeous long phrases.I have a deep understanding of the works,learning the soprano’s breath,singing and other difficulties,and guide my singing practice with theoretical knowledge.I have a deep understanding of the characters’ forms and a more accurate understanding of the singing works,so as to vividly express the characters in the works.
