In the 19 th century,European were at their peak,and the thought of romanticism rose quietly.In this period,the styles of opera were diversified,and many outstanding operas were produced,namely,French opera,German opera and Italian opera,among which,Italian opera was the fastest growing.Three famous Italy playwrights in the early 19 th century,Donizetti,Rossini,Bellini all created excellent works.There was a connecting link between the styles of their works in that era,which not only possessed the beautiful melody of Baroque opera,but also attached importance to theatricality and authenticity under the influence of romanticism.They paid attention to the integration of personality in music creation,and emphasized the recitativo expression and orchestral performance.Besides,in the creation of aria,they laid emphasis on the singer's way of voice,and preferred to use gorgeous coloratura to enrich the melody and perform according to the characters of the story to highlight the personalities of characters and the dramatic tension of the music,and to make the musical language take on a new look with unique creative characteristics.Many outstanding works survive today were born hereby.Donizetti made a great contribution to the early romantic operas.His works brought out the spirit of music,which made opera both spiritual and comic elements.In addition,he also had outstanding attainments in stage effects.In 1835,he created a famous opera Lucia Di Rummermmoore at Teatro San Carlo in Naples.In this opera,there was a famous aria,Regnava nel silenzio,which had gradually become the evaluation standard of opera coloratura because of the high difficulty in it.Donizetti and his Lucia Di Rummermmoore were summarized in this paper,and the background and music ontology of the aria Regnava nel silenzio in this opera were also analyzed respectively.The analysis of its music ontology consisted of the analysis of themusical structure,the style and characteristics of the works,the analysis of its three aspects of importance in the opera,and the singing analysis of its language,emotional sound and stage practice to let the author more accurately deduce and grasp this classic work.
