Research On The Application Of Original Music Materials Of Yunnan Ethnic Minorities In The Creation Of The Highest Point Of Colorful Clouds

The author’s graduation work "Clouds of Dian" is a three-movement orchestral work.The author hopes to write an original graduation music work with Chinese ethnic minority characteristics through the study and application of professional knowledge during the postgraduate period,combined with the field investigation and data collected in Dali,Yunnan and other areas.Therefore,this music work is created.In order to better complete the creation of the work,the author mainly uses the investigation method,literature research method and case study method to conceive and create "the application of original music elements in the work".The author,from the perspective of the "music stuff",collect original music material,organize field trips to the data,to induction and collation of data,at the same time to understand and learn music feature of ethnic minorities,rhythm,mode,tonality,characteristic interval,Musical Instruments,such as reasonable orchestration,writing the three music works with the characteristic of ethnic minority music.In the work,the author uses a variety of writing techniques to create the work,and describes the musical and cultural life of China’s ethnic minorities with the western double-pipe orchestra,which produces the musical effect of "combining Chinese and Western elements" and creates the musical atmosphere with ethnic minority characteristics,but also has some innovations.The band’s work takes three ethnic minorities in China（Bai,Dai and Yi）as its main objects of description,and uses three original music materials with ethnic minority characteristics as its creation elements.The music image and music style of the work are of ethnic minority music characteristics.The author combines western modern composition technology with China’s traditional pentatonic mode,performs Chinese-style works with western orchestras,combines Chinese and western,and completes this orchestra work with the creative concept of "combining Chinese and western elements".This paper analyzes the artistic characteristics and creative techniques of the work "Colorful Clouds of Dian" from the specific aspects of creation background,original music material,orgistration,etc.,in order to achieve a deeper excavation and study of the band’s works and a better completion of graduation works.
