A Study On Pragmatic Strategies Of The Commentary In The Documentary "Our Five Years"

In this paper,the narrative,rhetoric and discourse of the commentary of the documentary film "Our five years"are analyzed and studied by using the relevant theories of pragmatics and the text of the commentary as the Research Corpus,summarize the pragmatic strategy of the commentary in the documentary "our five years".Chapter One Introduction.The main content includes the reasons and significance of the topic selection,research summary,theoretical basis,research methods,source of corpus,and expounds the meaning of topic selection from two aspects: theoretical significance and practical significance.The research summary includes the research summary of "Our Five Years",the research summary of the commentary content,and the narrative research summary of the commentary content.This article uses the textual content of the commentary in the documentary "Our Five Years" as the corpus.Under the support of linguistic pragmatics and other related theories,the method of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,as well as combining inductive and deductive analysis,is applied to the documentary.The pragmatic strategies of the commentary in "Our Five Years" are studied in depth.The second chapter of the documentary film "Our five years"overview.This section first analyzes the documentary "our five years"program overview,determines the program nature,and collects this kind of program broadcast situation,from"our five years"the nature and the characteristic carries on the analysis induction,this paper analyzes the differences between the TV documentary program and the General TV documentary program,and sums up the unique characteristics of our five years adapting to the documentary program market.The third chapter is the narrative features of the commentary in the documentary "Our Five Years".The commentary is an important element that makes the structure of a documentary complete.Together with the appearance of the documentary program’s screen,the two play a complementary role in promoting each other.It can not only explain the recorded screens,and make the audience better understand the program at the same time,It can also better express the deep connotation that the documentary creator wants to convey to the audience in the form of words.This chapter mainly starts from three aspects: narrative method,narrative structure,and narrative skills,and summarizes the uniqueness of the documentary narrative strategy,and the similarities and differences between the narrative strategy of the documentary "Our Five Years" and other documentary narrative strategies.The fourth chapter is the discourse strategy of the commentary in the documentary "Our Five Years".Pragmatic presupposition can improve the linguistic quality of documentary commentary,and documentary commentary can improve the language quality of documentary commentary.Therefore,when researching,combining the documentary commentary text corpus with pragmatic presupposition theory will have more substantive meaning and its research content will be more convincing.This chapter starts with the cohesion and coherence of the commentary,discourse power expression strategy,and pragmatic presupposition strategy in the documentary "Our Five Years",and analyzes the language strategies used in the commentary of the documentary "Our Five Years".The last part is the conclusion of this article.By analyzing the strategies used to explain the pragmatics in "Our Five Years",we can figure out how the theme of communication completes the storytelling and makes it happen under the influence of the context in the documentary "Our Five Years".In the process,it conveyed the Chinese story very well.In the past,most of the research on "documentary commentary" focused on the comparative analysis of the same type of documentary commentary.The innovation of this article is that it is different from the previous scholars’ research on documentary film in the same type of program.Instead,it focuses the perspective on a specific TV documentary,organizes its program commentary text corpus,and conducts in-depth analysis of documentary commentary strategies in a more specific and targeted manner.
