| Line plays an important role in Chinese and Western painting,and it is a necessary element of painting language.At first,the expression of line in Western painting is rational and objective.With the development of the times and the integration of eastern and Western art,line presents a different form of expression from the past,and pays more attention to the consciousness of using line.In Chinese painting,lines tend to express sensibility,emphasize expressing people’s emotion,and attach importance to the order of "harmony between man and nature".In today’s era of art pluralism,the role and significance of line in China’s current oil painting creation can not be ignored.It carries the essence of traditional art.Although there are different forms of artistic expression in Chinese and Western paintings,line is the most important artistic expression symbol in painting language,and it is an important carrier connecting artists’ subjective feelings and the objective world.This paper focuses on the use of lines in the current oil painting creation to analyze its artistic expression.By analyzing the expressiveness of lines in Chinese and Western painting creation,we can feel the different expression forms of lines in Chinese and Western painting.Combined with the artists’ works,we can analyze the formal beauty of lines in the current Chinese oil painting creation from three aspects of composition,space and aesthetics,Clear the role of lines in China’s current oil painting creation,and finally apply the learned forms of line expression to their own oil painting creation,exercise their ability to express and understand lines with lines,and make more clear the significance of lines in the current oil painting creation.Lines not only undertake the artistic expression of traditional Chinese painting,but also stimulate the development space of future painting.Lines have important value and artistic expression in the current Chinese oil painting creation. |
