Mizuki Tsujimura is the 147th winner of the Naoki Prize,Japan’s highest popular literature award.She is listed as Japan’s most popular female writer alongside Minato Kanae and Miura Shion.The thesis is based on the translation of Tsujimura’ novel creation as the research object,and combines relevant feminism,narratology,and comparative literature theories to analyze and discuss her feminine writing,in order to deeply explore the value and significance of Tsujimura’s feminine writing.The first chapter of the thesis mainly discusses the growth soil of Mizuki Tsujimura’s feminine writing.The development of Japanese feminine writing was not only influenced by the western feminist movement,but also inseparable from the inheritance of its own female literary tradition.This chapter is dedicated to clarifying the origin and evolution of Japanese feminine writing,and thus serves as a deep soil for Tsujimura’s works,with a view to further analyzing the general characteristics of Japanese feminine writing in the new era and the characteristics of feminine writing in Tsujimura’s novels.The second chapter of the thesis mainly analyzes the images of young women in Tsujimura’s novels.Influenced by her personal experience and contemporary Japanese feminine writing,Tsujimura is good at shaping the image of young women.Through the portrayal of girls on the fringe of campus and adult women in small towns,the pain and growth of young women are shown concentratedly,showing Tsujimura’s care for the fate of women,and we can also see her concern and thinking about hot social issues and classic topics of the times.The third chapter of the thesis mainly discusses the textual strategies of Tsujimura’s feminine writing.With a high degree of self-consciousness and a clear gender awareness,Tsujimura adopts a writing strategy that focuses on the expression of female feelings and has a clear femininity in her novels.The surreal imagery and modern narrative features with unique connotations in her novels add a touch of color to his female writing.The unique narrative charm and the integration of surreal power make her novels find a balance between "commercial" and "artistic",which demonstrates her pursuit of the spiritual value of literary works.
