The thesis tries to make a research on how modern female wriers seek self-recognition by analysing the contents and the style of their works.The thesis divided into two sections: The first section analyses the contents of fheir wtitings, and exposes the process of female self-feminine novels. First, the writers exposed of and escaped from the fate "to be a thing",including female's expression of their conditions of "being a thing" and the basis reason that made female a thing - the attitude of man-centred scoiety ."Woman is human" is the theme of the feminine novels in 1920s. This is the important period for the wake - up of the feminism. In 1930s and 1940s , feminine novels further intepreted the cocept "women" from different angles based on "woman is human".The second section discusses the value and significance of female's rights of writing in the process of female self -consciousness. In the history of modern literature, female writings are positive. "Autobiographic" and "Lyric" are two main features of their writing are positive. "Autobiography" developed from personal autobigraphy to communication with nation, world and history,"Lyric" are from over -- unbosomed to conrtolled , which show that feminine consciousness is getting mature.
