With the outbreak of new coronavirus pneumonia at the end of 2019,online English teaching classroom was popularized in schools all over the country.Taking H Town S School in Tangshan City,Hebei Province as an example,this paper discusses the problems in online English teaching management in rural small-scale schools from the aspects of teaching activity preparation and implementation,teaching method management,teaching content management,time monitoring management,teacher feedback evaluation management,student self-management,classroom discipline and teaching rules management.This study adopts three main research methods,such as literature method,interview method and questionnaire method,and selects teachers and students of rural small-scale schools in H Town,Tangshan City,Hebei Province as the research object.Two versions of the questionnaire are designed to invest the current situation of online English classroom teaching management in rural small-scale schools and the understanding and attitude of teachers and students to online English classroom.According to the investigation,S school does have some problems in the management of the preparation and implementation of teaching activities,the management of teaching methods,the management of teaching content,the management of time monitoring,the management of teacher feedback evaluation,the management of students’self-management,classroom discipline and the management of teaching rules.I have carried on the attribution analysis to these problems,the main reasons are:the control type,the authority type classroom teaching management idea is invalid;the student study initiative is not high;the student lacks the related online learning intelligent equipment;the teacher experience is insufficient and the ability is limited;the parent is unable to carry out the supervisory function.Therefore,this paper summarizes the following countermeasures to improve the management of online English classroom teaching:first,pay attention to the scene creation of online English classroom;second,Technical support;third,the use of interaction to effectively implement teaching;fourth,teaching evaluation and feedback strategies.The epidemic will eventually pass,but the online English classroom teaching method will become a continuation of the teaching form.How to make the online English classroom teaching management more efficient,It is always a topic worth discussing to promote students’ physical and mental development in the environment of online English classroom teaching.
