Zhou Yi is one of the oldest Chinese scriptures and it stood out among all the classics,As the root of Chinese traditional culture,Zhou Yi can be said the earliest philosophy in China.Zhou Yi includes scripture of Yi and commentaries on Yi,It was a comprehensive reflection of the social,political,economic and cultural life at that time,Zhou Yi contains profound philosophical thought and the most valuable is the thought of harmony reflected in it.The thought of harmony in Zhouyi is embodied in explaining all things with the law of Yin-Yang transformation,and treat problems with holistic,dialectical and variable thinking.Zhou Yi advocates the middle way,"take the middle way then no blame" appear many times in the scripture,Zhouyi considers that the middle way is harmony.At the same time,Zhouyi holds that the middle way should be carried out with the time,The original and unique concept of "Follow the middle way according to the time" was put forward.The thought of harmony in Zhou Yi extends to the category of human relations and morality,and puts forward the idea of combining hardness with softness,and combining benevolence with righteousness.It is undeniable that the thought of harmony in Zhou Yi contains rich dialectical thinking,which affects people’s observation of social and natural phenomena and their own way of production and life.Drawing lessons from the thought of harmony in Zhou Yi is of great practical significance to building a harmonious socialist society,building a community of shared future for mankind and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
