| The visually impaired group is a part of the disadvantaged groups in society,and a group with a small but not negligible social base.They are also consumers of medicines.Due to the physiological differences between visually impaired people and ordinary people,they have some practical difficulties in identifying drugs,so it is urgent to improve the drug safety of visually impaired people.To solve this problem,through a large number of previous studies on laws and regulations,literature and cases,this paper learned that there are mature design specifications and related design drugs in foreign countries,but there is still no clear writing and operation specifications in China,and there is also a lack of drug packaging design specifically for visually impaired people in the drug market.From the perspective of design profession,the author adopted design methods such as close contact observation with visually impaired people,empathy experiment and drug market research,so as to accurately understand the purchase and drug use of the designed objects.Finally,the category of the designed drugs was determined to be the drugs that the visually impaired people could use independently and most frequently.In the design,the cognitive characteristics of visually impaired people are integrated into the packaging information communication for re-design,and finally a new drug packaging that meets the physiological and psychological needs of visually impaired people is presented.Through research and practice,this paper puts forward sufficient theoretical basis for the purchase and use of drugs for the visually impaired and a feasible design method in line with the characteristics of the visually impaired,so as to provide new thinking for the application and safety of drugs. |
