A Study Of Jian Bozan’s Outline Of Chinese History From The Perspective Of Marxist Historiography

Jian Bozan is a famous historian of Marxism.He devoted his whole life to historical research and revolutionary struggle,and made outstanding contributions to the establishment of Marxist history.Jian Bozan has written many works and articles in his life.The outline of Chinese history is one of the most important works.It is not only an academic work,but also a teaching material of history.After the outline of Chinese history came out,it played a certain role in resisting the non historicism view prevailing in the academic circles at the beginning of new China.In recent years,the research on jianbozan has increased,but most of them are limited in a certain field of jianbozan’s academic thought,such as class relationship,teaching thought,historical data view,national history view,materialist history view and so on.There are few researches on a certain work of jianbozan,especially on the outline of Chinese history.Based on the existing research results,this paper combs out jianbozan’s academic achievements and the value of the times.This paper first introduces the influence of Marxism on jianbozan’s historical research,including the development and dissemination of Marxist history in China,and in this process,why does jianbozan accept Marxist theory,after accepting Marxist theory,how does jianbozan apply Marxist theory to historical research and what academic contributions he has made Present.Secondly,from the five aspects of the social background,methods and ideas of the compilation of the outline of Chinese history and the content and characteristics of the outline of Chinese history,the academic achievements of the outline of Chinese history are comprehensively collated and analyzed.At last,the paper expounds the value of the times in the outline of Chinese history from two aspects: academic value and practical value.In a word,after the founding of new China,the publication of the outline of Chinese history made him achieve outstanding academic achievements.This book,as a scientific blueprint for later compilation of Chinese general history textbooks,has made new contributions to the development of Marxist historiography.The outline of Chinese history has been published for more than 50 years since 1962.During this period,it has been used as a special textbook for Chinese general history by many universities.At present,JianBozan’s outline of Chinese history has been listed in the national planning textbook of the 11 th Five Year Plan for general higher education by the Ministry of education of the People’s Republic of China,and the outline of Chinese history has been called as a classic textbook by later generations.It can be seen that Jian Bozan’s outline of Chinese history not only has its unique advantages,but also occupies an important position in the teaching materials of Chinese general history works.In the new era,how to combine the actual situation of socialism with Chinese characteristics and compile the works of Chinese general history in line with the current era has become an important task.Therefore,Jian Bozan’s work "outline of Chinese history" is a subject of research value.
