Study On De-radicalization And Anti-terrorism In Xinjiang

General Secretary Xi Jinping has profoundly pointed out that “violent terrorist activities are rooted in national separatism and ate based on religious extremism”.Accelerating the work of de-radicalization and preventing and cracking down on violent terrorist activities can effectively enhance the people`s sense of security in Xinjiang and be more conducive to maintaining social stability,ethnic unity,religious harmony and the reunification of the motherland.In Xinjiang,the existence of religious extremism and terrorism has seriously threatened the normal and orderly development of the society.The analysis of the relationship between religious extremism and terrorist activities is conducive to the development of counter-terrorism and de-radicalization.In this paper,through a large number of literature reading and sorting,combining Xinjiang region development current religious extremism and terrorism activity such as the nature of religious extremism and religious extremism and characteristics,the nature and characteristics of terrorism and terrorist activities,the internal relationship between the religious extremism and terrorism,the Xinjiang region of terrorism and to work in extreme systematically discusses countermeasures and Suggestions,etc.The essence of religious extremism is politics under the cloak of religion.Religious extremism is characterized by extremism,deception,politics and violence,and it has seriously infringed upon the people`s lives and property.Religious extremism and violent terrorism have an inseparable relationship.Terrorist activities have seriously endangered the social security,affected the social stability and long-term stability of Xinjiang,hindered the economic development of Xinjiang,and destroyed the national unity.Therefore,we must strictly combat religious extremist forces and violent terrorist forces in accordance with the law to avoid the occurrence of violent terrorist activities.It has been three and a half years since violent terrorism broke out in Xinjiang,but we still can not relax,insist on putting preventive counterterrorism first,and actively guide religions to adapt to the socialist mode of production.Xinjiang is an important position in the struggle of anti-terrorism and de-extremism in China.To clarify the relationship between them is beneficial to the anti-terrorism and de-extremism work in Xinjiang.
