| At present,with the expansion of China’s foreign economy and trade,more and more domestic companies intend to expand their business overseas.In addition,as China’s status in the international community gradually increases,more and more international conferences and forums have been held in China.Interpreting,as an important bridge between Chinese and foreign partners,plays an irreplaceable role in this process.The author worked as an interpreter in the second business talk between Beijing Ruichuang Environmental Energy Technology Co.,Ltd.and foreign investors.This thesis takes the form of a practice report to review the interpreting experience.Because this is the author’s first real interpreting practice,there are many deficiencies in the interpreting process.For instance,although the author had read some professional books in advance,she still feels short of professional knowledge during the practice.Sometimes the author could not follow the speaker’s words,which caused lack of interpretation or misinterpretation.In addition,the understanding and capture capacity of source language is so limiting that the interpretation is not very good.In this practice,the whole interpreting process is guide with the Interpretative Theory.The author as soon as possible to understood the core meaning of speakers after their speech,then got ride of the shell of source language and expressed the meaning in target language.However,due to the limited ability,the author made some mistakes during the process,and the interpretation quality is not perfect,the author chose to revised the whole recording to solved the problems appeared in the interpreting practice.This thesis first introduces the background,purpose and significance of this practice.After reviewing the theoretical framework and the entire interpreting process,the author analyzes and summarizes the entire interpreting practice process in conjunction with pre-interpreting preparations and interpreting recording files,and summarizes the author’s problems and find the corresponding solutions to make up for shortcomings in the practice of interpreting.After reflection,the author summarizes the main problems that occur in the entire interpreting process,including three points.Finally,the author summarizes the entire practice process and the limitations of this report.This thesis takes Chinese-English interpreting as the main research object,combing the Interpretive Theory with interpreting practice.The author firstly gives a brief introduction to the interpreting task,including the significance and research method.The second is whole interpreting process.After that is the main body of this thesis,which is case analysis.The author lift some typical sentences as examples to analyze.And the last chapter is conclusions,including findings and deficiencies,which to some extent is meaningful,though there being defects. |
