Confusable words,which are often used or misused by second language learners,refer to words that have a distant semantic relationship or no synonym(near-semantic relationship).In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,it has gradually attracted the attention of academic circles as a separate category,but there are few studies on a pair of confusable words at present.In HSK Vocabulary and Chinese Character Outline,“Fazhan” is a Grade A word and “Fada” is a Grade B word with high frequency of use.According to research,they are a group of high frequency bi-directional misused words.Therefore,this paper takes “Fazhan ” and “ Fada ”,a pair of confusable words,as the research object.Based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the error corpus of the confusable words,using the wrong word(CC),missing word(CQ)and multiple word(CD)as the retrieval conditions,finds out the causes of the errors,and puts forward targeted teaching and learning strategies on this basis.The article mainly includes the following five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.This part mainly introduces the reason and significance of this topic,and meanwhile sorts out and classifies the related studies of confusable words“Fazhan” and “Fada”,and explains the research methods and corpus sources of this paper.The second chapter is the ontological study of “Fazhan” and “Fada”,mainly from two aspects of syntactic distribution and semantic function analysis,and summarizes the similarities and differences of syntactic distribution and semantic function of the two,for the following error analysis preparation.The third chapter analyzes the erroneous corpus of “Fazhan” and “ Fada”.In this chapter,after the statistics of the “Fazhan ” and “ Fada ” corpora in HSK Dynamic Writing Corpus,119 erroneous corpora conforming to the research scope are obtained.According to the ontological research in the second part,the corpora is divided into two categories: syntactic errors and semantic errors.The fourth chapter is about the causes of errors in the “ Fazhan ” and“Fada ” of second language acquisition,and puts forward corresponding teaching and learning strategies according to the causes.This chapter discusses the causes of errors in the process of second language learners’ “ Fazhan ” and “Fada ” from four aspects: the influence of vocabulary itself,learners’ lack of basic knowledge,negative transfer of mother tongue and generalization of target language rules,and further puts forward feasible teaching strategies for these reasons.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,which summarizes the whole paper and explains the innovation and deficiency of this paper.
