| As a part of overseas Chinese literature,Chen He’s novels have become an important part of contemporary Chinese literary circles because of his unique cultural posture.The Chinese writing in Chen He’s novels is a text that he concentrated on writing about the people,things,things,life forms,and culture in this land of China after he returned to the literary world as an overseas Chinese writer.His novels are not separated from China in terms of characters and language,because he has experienced life in China from the late 1950 s to the early 1990 s.Immigrating overseas,not only did not make his Chinese writing fall into the misunderstanding of nationalism or orientalism,but kept him at a certain distance from China and overseas,showing the depth of cultural reflection and human exploration.The thesis mainly includes three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces Chen He’s life and creation situation,combs the research status of Chen He’s novels and the basis of selecting topics,defines the concept of "Chinese writing" used in the thesis,and establishes the research ideas.The first chapter sorts out the themes and content of Chinese writing in the memory of the hometown,mainly including the history of the Cultural Revolution and the life of the barracks.The history of the Cultural Revolution presents the relationship between power and desire,and the issue of identity.The writing of barracks life is characterized by the absence of heroes and the impermanence of life.To sum up,there are four characteristics of Chinese writing in the memory of the hometown.First,the protagonists are mostly ignorant teenagers who are growing up.Second,flashbacks are generally used in the narration of novels.Third,it is filled with dreamy colors.Fourth,it highlights the regional color.The second chapter uses Oracle Bone Time as the detailed text,researches Chen He’s writing of the great historical China,and discusses the artistic concept and culture of Chen He’s structure of ancient and modern time and space,connecting China and the West from three aspects: text structure,character image and narrative posture pursue.The third chapter focuses on Chen He’s thoughts on the current environmental problems,revolutionary problems,and the problems of going to the country and returning to the country,and analyzes the use of his allegorical narrative.The conclusion part to summarize the strengths of Chen He’s creation under the macro background of the history of contemporary Chinese literature,and puts forward the limitations and deficiencies in his creation. |
