Study On The Prose Genre "Shuo" In Tang Dynasty

"Shuo" is a kind of ancient argumentation,focusing on illustrating things,explaining reasoning,expressing feelings,is mainly based on narration,discussion and explanation.This paper is intended to combine with literary characteristics to conclude and summarize the Tang Dynasty essay,and hope to comprehensively analyze the outline and value of them.The main content of this article is divided into five parts:The first part is that,through sorting out the origin and development of the “shuo” until the mature process in Tang dynasty,to clear out the developing sequence of the essay before Tang Dynasty.“shuo” is derived from Shuogua,develops in Zhanguo,and changes in six dynasties of Wei and Jin.Based on the the former dynasty,the Tang’s essay is gradually becoming mature.The second part is that,summarize the creation situation of classical Chinese in the Tang Dynasty and analyze the reasons for its prosperity.The essays in Tang Dynasty are totally 66,involving 25 writers.When compared with the literary form of “Lun” “Bian” “Yu” “Yuan”,the prominent properties of the Tang dynasty’s essay is that: different versions of article spring up,and present a splendid sight;talk about things with reason,and give people a lot of enlightenment;discuss precisely,show delight literature talent.The reason for prosperity of the argumentation in Tang dynasty lies in that: the result of social background and literary concepts,the push of the “ancient essay movement” of Han Yu and Liu Zhongyuan,the influence of the combination of three religions and so on.The third part is that,the topic type and content purpose of Tang Dynasty’s essay.As far as the content type concerned,Tang’s essay includes: explore classic argumentation,express academic concept;explain political opinion,point out realistic problems;record complex feeling and easygoing chat,interpret the way of being a good man;promote the original etiquette system,exam the secular situation and the name argumentation and so on,which not only have the inheritance of the traditional content,but have their own special talking field and discussing objective.The fourth part is that,explore and analyze the debate characteristics and expressing techniques of the argumentation assay in Tang Dynasty.As a writing style talking about the reason,the argumentation uses a great number of expressing way of fables,allusions,comparison between positive and negative,which has a strong philosophical nature and art nature.This part,through digging out the characteristics of “precise and appropriate discussion,beautiful and fluent words”,“expressing the ambition with things,lying the law in the matter”,“comparing the positive and negative,strong and elegant”,“paralleling and illustrating,with the words that are concise and pure” entail in argumentation essays of Tang dynasty,further indicates that the Tang’s argumentation essay is different from the prominent features and art specialty of other article stylistic.Tang dynasty’s argumentation essay.Tang dynasty argumentation essay is one of the achievements of "Ancient essay movement",and has new expansion and development in the topic content and other aspects;though the Tang dynasty’s argumentation essay is almost short,it is excellent to get into the portal,and becomes one body of the pure literature;Compared with formal dynasty,the argumentation stylistic of Tang people has new property in art performance,which enriches the art performance of stylistic.
