Abstract/Summary:
In the 20th century,from the New Culture Movement to the Reform and Opening-up,Chinese writers actively absorbed the advanced literary ideas and experiences of the West,which made Chinese literature full of vitality.Almost all writers of modern literature are influenced by foreign literature,and prairie writers are no exception.After the Reform and Opening-up,the influence of western modernist literature on the prairie novels can be seen in the works of prairie novels.Prairie writers imitate and draw on the creative skills of western modernist literature to reflect the prairie herdsmen and their nomadic life under the influence of modern industry and commercialization,and at the same time,they creatively integrate the traditional ethnic culture and inject vitality into the development of prairie literature.This paper discusses the influence of western modernist literature of Inner Mongolia prairie novels after the Reform and Opening-up.Through tracing the origin of the history of the prairie novels,combining with the study of the prairie culture,prairie literature and the development process of the Mongolian people,it is found that the prairie novels in Inner Mongolia are closely related to the Mongolian literature,prairie literature and even the nomadic culture and prairie culture because of their special geographical position and ethnic cultural background.As a part of Chinese literature,Inner Mongolia prairie novels were inevitably influenced,either explicitly or implicitly,during the period when the western literary trend was prevalent in China.So the research of Inner Mongolia prairie novel,from the open inclusive of nomadic culture,inheriting the tradition,and then confirm the prairie novel consciously exchange with western modernism literature,to accept this a series of process of foreign influence.First of all,the paper,the analysis of the influence of Inner Mongolia prairie novel accept modern northern grassland and the west cultural exchange as the starting point,the steppe nomads has a history of communication with foreign culture,maintain an open inclusive attitude.According to a certain amount of time sequence,western modernism into China’s time at the beginning of the 20 th century,its influence on Chinese literature,thus influence on the prairie literature,laid the foundation for Inner Mongolia prairie novels accept foreign influence.After the 1980 s,Inner Mongolian writers as the main group of writers in Inner Mongolia prairie novels began to show modernity and cosmopolitanism.Secondly,after understanding the writing and life experiences of A Yunga,Mandumai and Uljiburin and close reading of the texts,this paper summarizes the influence of western modernism on the narrative structure,alienation theme and character images of Inner Mongolia prairie novels,and expounds how these writers accept the influence and how their works draw on the stream of consciousness,alienation theme and character shaping methods to create their works.At the same time,sums up the writer’s unique style.Prairie writers use their emotional narrative structure of writing characters,through the alienation of people revealing the change of era and people thought the changes of belief,the hero image,focus on grassland herdsmen’s inner world.Finally,after receiving the influence,the writer must transcend it and show his originality.Through the study of the writers’ works,it is found that the prairie writers have the powerful creative source of Inner Mongolia prairie and the rich ethnic cultural background,and creatively integrate them with their own creative ideas and skills with the expression techniques and skills of western modernism literature,forming the unique charm of prairie novels,which has a unique cultural significance in today’s diversified world literature.
