| As an ancient literary genre, folk fairy tales have been handed down from time to time. From the point of view of the variability of folk fairy tales, every narrative is a new life. The adaptation and transformation of fairy tales has become inevitable, which is not only the opening of fairy tales, but also the strong reading demand of children and the promotion of commercial capital. In the contemporary era,the folk fairy tales not only do not disappear, but also present a more colorful appearance: there are both oral communication forms represented by audio books and radio plays,as well as writing and printing forms represented by paper books, there are animation as a representative of the image form. This study is based on the perspective of folk literature and art, starting with the style of folk fairy tales from the perspective of media changes, and focusing on the diversified forms of Chinese contemporary fairy tales, this paper sorts out the fairy tales with Chinese folk characteristics from the colorful fairy tales and analyzes how they are adapted from the traditional folk tales. At the same time, based on the background of electronization and globalization, the author rethinks the value and significance of fairy tales in the contemporary era. This research is divided into three parts: Introduction, text and conclusion. The text has four chapters. The preface first explains the reason, purpose and significance of the research, then expounds the research status at home and abroad, and finally explains the research ideas and content of this paper. The first chapter studies the cultural tradition of fairy tales.Starting from the classic beginning of Fairy Tales "a long time ago",this paper reviews the development history of fairy tales in China, and answers the question "how far are fairy tales from us? ".Starting from the background of the May 4th period, this paper tries to understand the influence of the style of fairy tales on China.Because of the complexity of the style of Fairy Tales, the concept of "Fairy Tales" has been ambiguous since it entered China.Based on the concept of "child-oriented",this paper differentiates "classical fairy tales","folk fairy tales" and "creation fairy tales",and through combing the classical fairy tales, excavates the literary resources suitable for adaptation into modern fairy tales. The second chapter studies the "re-creation" of fairy tales.Taking the fairy tales of writing type as the research object, this paper discusses how to construct a "memorable China" for children. This paper first analyzes how the Grimms’ Fairy Tales and the collection of Italian fairy tales rewrote the traditional folk tales, and then reviews the history and current situation of the rewriting of Chinese folk tales. Finally, through the analysis of two classic cases,"Chinese fairy tales in the sound of Han" and "Shanhaijing series" by Xiao Mao,this paper illustrates how domestic fairy tale writers use traditional themes to re-create fairy tales, and probes into the principles and methods of rewriting fairy tales. The third chapter studies the "new dissemination" of Fairy Tales.Taking the video-audio type fairy tale as the research object, this paper focuses on the new form of fairy tale communication at present.Starting from the background of picture-reading times, this paper probes into the present situation of children’s life and reading, and analyzes how the traditional stories are narrated and disseminated in picture books, children’s electronic books and animation. As an art form that emphasizes the unity of picture and text, picture book promotes the visual adaptation of folk fairy tales.Children’s electronic books, greatly promote the spread of folk fairy tales, fully meet the needs of children to listen to stories and see stories. As a more complex and comprehensive art, animation is more difficult to adapt. The creative use of traditional folk fairy tales and folk art by the "Chinese School" is still worthy of today’s animation creators. The Fourth Chapter is the reflection on the rewriting and reading of folk fairy tales under the multi-media.The controversy caused by "China Story" published by Yi Wei illustrates the difficulty of rewriting fairy tales.By observing the adaptation of folk fairy tales in different media, this paper sums up six suggestions on the adaptation of folk fairy tales.By describing the parents’ cognition of Fairy Tales, this paper illustrates the double significance of fairy tales to children and adults, and how to read for parents and children. The conclusion part,on the basis of summarizing the present situation of Chinese fairy tale creation, looks forward to the future of fairy tale creation, and discusses the value and significance of fairy tale creation returning to folk tradition. |
