As a core category in the study of Marx’s philosophy,the concept of labor has a very important theoretical position.Clarifying and interpreting Marx’s labor concept has important academic significance and theoretical value for grasping Marx’s philosophical thought as a whole and advancing the study of Marx’s philosophy.Marx’s concept of labor has deep roots in the history of thought.When Aristotle proposed "practice" and "creation" in ancient Greece,the concept of labor gained its initial theoretical connotation.In the period of classical national economics,Adam Smith proposed the "labor theory of value",which is The concept of labor endowed economic connotation.In the period of German classical philosophy,Hegel grasped the objectivity of labor and the essence of labor.In summary,the theory of labor in ancient Greek practical philosophy,national economics,and German classical philosophy provided an important ideological basis for Marx’s concept of labor.On the basis of the history of thought,Marx explained the theoretical content of the concept of labor.In "Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844","German Ideology" and "Das Kapital",Marx developed the theoretical content of the labor concept from the three dimensions of human "objective activity","production" labor,and "employment labor"..In "The Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844",Marx used the concept of "objective activity" as the basis to reveal the unity of the "fit for purpose" and "regularity" of human activity itself;in "German Ideology",Marx takes the "realistic individual" who lives in a certain social relationship and is engaged in the production of material materials as the logical starting point,and uses material production labor to explain the existence,nature and development of human beings;in Capital,Marx From the standpoint of the laborer,"employed labor" is the research object,and the capitalist economic relationship is deeply analyzed,thereby revealing the essence of "hired labor" exploitation and alienation.On the basis of these expositions,Marx thoroughly unveiled the mystery of capitalism and the life activities hidden by abstract labor through the "objective activity" of labor,and demonstrated the liberation logic and theoretical interest contained in the labor concept.
